Lichko's Post History

Ok, I just tested. You cannot use the /em function to type a custom emote while on a trial account.

However, you can use standard emotes. Here are the ones I know:

/hi
/wave
/laugh
/dance
/charge
/taunt
/cry
/sob
/love
/angry
/blush
/cheer
/point
/win

But to call an entire guild a ninja looting guild over one bad experience with 4 people, of which I was one, is ridiculous. Just throw me a message here and we can work something out as to what happened. Other than that, there isn't really much I can offer.

Asst. GM of Soup
Krn.Joe

I normally would not call an entire guild ninja looters over the actions of individuals, no. However, the fact that this occurred when I was in a group with not just one, but four of your members - which supposedly included the GM, and certainly included the assistant GM - changes my views quite dramatically. That this would occur in a group which included the leadership of a guild implies that they condone, and perhaps even encourage, such actions.

One person ninja-looting in a guild does not make their entire guild ninja looters; typically it means the GM is unaware of their actions, but will address the issue and perhaps even kick the player in question.

The guild master, or assistant GM, ninja-looting implies that the guild is a ninja-looting guild. Clearly, they approve of such actions and are willing to wear their guild tag while doing so. To me, that says, "we support this behavior, and we are proud of it".

You can kick in combat? Teach me this please! Cause everytime I've tried to kick someone, it tells me i have to wait 120 seconds with no combat. So I R CURIOUS!

Thread over.

This is just a pointless callout thread towards Soup!

I understand that this may be misinterpreted as a callout thread. However, that is not my intention. My experience was not an isolated incident. I am not the first, and probably not the last, person to have mysteriously been removed during the final boss while in a group with Soup members. The purpose of this thread is to warn other players to be cautious and expect foul play when grouping with the four who were named in the OP.

I cannot simply create a thread that says, "Beware of ninja looters!" without stating names, or some form of identification. Any defamation that may result from this thread is an unintentional side effect, and if Soup guild does not enjoy being portrayed in this light, my apologies go out to their leadership. I would advise they ensure their members are playing fairly and upholding the guild's good name, so that they can avoid any future complaints.

One, no one cares.... two, the run didn't go smoothly, your substandard healing and apparent stupidity wiped us on the first boss when your incompetent self couldn't destroy the pillar, then again on the crab boss when you ate a spike and I had to rez you and in turn ended up dying and losing yet another anarchic, on lancer it went smoothly because lets just face it, we're boss status. On Kaprima you weren't kicked, you left the party or something else happened because last time I checked, we weren't magicians or programmers and don't have the ability to make the game do what we want, when we want... also, you can't get out of combat and get kicked behind the snakehead because when he yanks you in just before he does it, you're still in combat... so smashed that conspiracy theory. Lastly I alone lost 400g in Anarchic crux's not counting what the rest of the group lost, so if you ask me that was the Tera gods telling you that you didn't deserve loot and that you should go back to farming godsmarrow in normals. Call us out, I'll call you out and since its a callout thread, they'll all get locked and removed anyway! Get on my level kid, until then stop attempting to slander my good name.

Good day sir.
Krn.Joe

I'm aware no one cares, I believe I stated that at the beginning of my post.

I appreciate your overinflated self-confidence. I am also curious what exactly caused me to be dropped from the group; I'm not a ninja looter, I don't quite know what loophole you jump through to kick people from your groups. Oh, I suppose my mouse just slipped and I accidentally hit some key that automatically dropped me from group. Oh, I suppose those other people posting in my threads also accidentally left group when they happened to be with your premade. Funny how that's never happened to me in any other group. It's quite a coincidence, isn't it?

You are mistaken if you think you have a good name. The proof is in the replies to this thread. I'm not the only person your premade has kicked at the last boss. In fact, I'm not seeing anyone supporting your guild... only people calling you a "garbage guild", and people wondering how you're managing to kick during combat.

So, please, try to defend your "good name".

Artifact is the guild leader.

Ah, is that so? Well that does complicate things. I looked them up via Guilds on Server (I'm not actually from VoT) and saw Krn.Art was leader. Is that a level 60 alt he hides behind in GvG?

can't kick during combat or after for 120 seconds, how did they achieve this?

To be honest, I am not entirely sure. There are lots of loopholes in the current kicking system (ie, you can kick without calling a vote if the target is outside the instance - I've been in groups where lancer tried to kick berserker before last boss, but vote was declined. Lancer then removed his crystals before engaging Kaprima, then intentionally lost aggro, chased boss all over healer, etc to cause a wipe. Berserker ressed in town and lancer kicked him while he loaded, no one else was able to vote).

As I was on the receiving end of the kick, I'm not sure which loophole they abused to kick me during a boss encounter. My theory is that for some reason the 120-seconds-after-combat thing did not apply.

I know that I was kicked a few seconds after the 10% snake phase. I assume they purposely let themselves drop combat during the hide-behind-snake phase and do not re-engage the boss until they've kicked.

I am a priest, so after the snake phase, I usually lock onto Kaprima with Energy Stars and wait to release it until all the DPS are in range of the buff. I do not engage combat (via Triple Nemesis endurance debuffing) until DPS and tank are already in position. Basically, when combat begins is dependent on the DPS/tank, although I suppose in the future I'll engage combat myself by Triple Nem-ing as soon as the snake is destroyed.

Who knows, perhaps the no-kicking-during-combat rule didn't even apply, either.

I've been in pugs with other Soup members. In general their guild is competent and generally makes runs go smoothly. This is the first time I've had any complaints, and I hope their leadership will look into these particular members.

Kicking during the last boss is the dirtiest sort of ninja-looting. Unless this is the sort of thing Soup leadership is proud of, these four members are ruining their guild's reputation. Actions speak more on behalf of the guild than the individual. I will no longer be trusting any Soup members in my pugs, and I hope others take caution, too.
Just a warning to anyone who cares (I know many of you won't, that's fine). Soup guild on Valley of Titans are ninja looters. Today, I was queued into a FoK hardmode with four Soup members. The run went smoothly. We were doing well, but, they kicked me when Kaprima was at 8% life. During the final snake phase at 10%, they call a vote-kick and the unlucky pug who was queued into their 4-man premade is ported out of the dungeon before the boss dies.

The names of these Soup members are:
EDITED
I would suggest you leave group immediately if you are a solo player placed into their premade. They are pleasant enough for the entire run, until they kick you when the last boss has a sliver of HP.
