I'm not disagreeing with you. Just saying that if they did that, it might be a cause. But I have no way of knowing.
I don't know their finances, nor their server structure, but I would indeed hope that they bought and implemented backup server(s). Although if it was at the datacenter, a backup there might not always work. Unless they were wealthy enough to have a backup at another location. But for a new company, that isn't often realistic.

Yes, you can pin the blame entirely on EME. If this was a connection issue, it wouldn't be so widespread, and regionally bound. EME has utterly failed to keep their servers functional yet again, and have proved incompetent, or possibly negligent, in discovering the cause.

It could have been something going wrong at the datacenter. We just don't know. Either way, EME probably will not release details on what went wrong.
In a "disaster" type scenario like this case, which sounds to be a regional issue, they hav eto be very careful with what they say. And they must be right. Have patience. I'm sure they are working on it.
Yeah this seems normal to me too.

And go ahead and continue enchanting it if you want to. Don't let others tell you how to customize and progress your character.

Lets not forget that every 24 hours of game time amounts to at most, $0.50.

Broker

Spell bind I think in Nexus Traverse and part of the elite monthly perks.
Also instance bosses too i think."

You kill many Brokers recently? I don't think very many people would say that somebody buying them and putting them on the broker would be considered "dropping in game".

And I've never heard of Spellbind dropping in Nexus Traverse nor instance bosses.

Above post is 100% correct except I have never seen ext. alk. drop in game.

The drop part was meant for the Masterwork Alkahests. I admit that was a little unclear. And yeah I'm not sure where others are saying they drop from.
Extensive Alkahests and Spellbinds are not available in the game unless somebody spends money on the cash shop. This doesn't necessarily have to be you though, since they are tradable.

Spellbinds are more expensive now than they used to be, but that isn't surprising. And Extensive Alkahests are a VERY SLIGHTLY higher success version of masterwork alkahests, which drop from bosses and can come out of LFD reward boxes.

Furthermore, you can get plenty of gold, fodder, and master enigmatic scrolls from running dungeons and doing the nexus events.

The only thing the cash shop allows you to do is reach the same result a bit faster, but it is in no way a "requirement"
