I've been dead before where the roll window pops up and I click "roll". I do nothing to the loot settings or anything crazy. It works like that. Can anyone confirm this or am I hallucinating? (btw if the "resurrect" screen is up hit ESC once and try rolling then).
That's mainly if you're crafting. So say I'm leveling Alchemy, naturally I need Alchemical materials. To extract weapons/armor I would learn Alchemy extraction scrolls up to the tier of the stuff I want to extract. So if I want to extract tier 6 stuff I need to learn Alchemy extraction up to level 6. Each tier gives something specific in terms of materials and rarity of item being extracted reflects output (i.e., how much of a material you extract) at least that's how I get it.

most the time i find that if i go with friends or guildies, dungeons are done in a very timely manor. But what the op seems to be talking about is pugs and i don't expect anything to come out of a pug...ever! If i finish on time, good. If i get kicked or the party disbands... i can say i saw it coming a mile away.

Mostly i see Lancers that just want to over compilate things and constantly mark, mark, mark and sit in front off a fire every pulll, or at least before every boss fight. This annoys me.

Go! Go! Go!

You mean they play properly? The reason these lancers are marking is so everyone targets one mobs and the mobs go down a lot faster that way instead of everyone scattering (which people do anyway regardless of the mark). As for campfires, i guess that depends on what boss and how bad your stamina is but I wouldn't do it for EVERY boss but big deal.
NPC, extract, throw it out, or use it to enchant other stuff and put it up for sale.
I can roll when I'm dead :/
You can run them back to back if you stay with the same party (atleast through queue is how i did it) and get the leader to reset the dungeon, it works i did it last night.
Its true leveling takes longer at higher levels mainly due to downtime but ou're also richer and can invest in heloism, mana and healing potions and you all but negate the downtime. Im level 44 and havent slowed down one bit.

Even if there were no other MMORPGs out there like Tera, combining two genres of game into one is hardly revolutionary.

Q F T.

this game was beautiful, and i had fun playing it. but speaking from a realistic perspective, this game WILL fail. and it already did in korea i heard. 37 servers since launch down to like....15? cant remember the zact number, but it failed basically.

i can just name a few flaws RIGHT NOW that kills this game. item remodeling....oh yea....for a p2p game u'd expect it to have a better remodeling system.

combat is less intense and smooth as compared to vindictus/dragon nest, u cant have full control over ur character in this game. ur character looks VERY clumsy in TERA's combat.

lvling in this game is plain and simple boring. i have not seen a game with such few variety of quest options. everything was just get quest, kill, return quest. nothing like riding a siege vehicle or going under cover.

crystal destruction is a PAIN. and it will ruin this game. when u hit lvl 60 and start doing dungeons, u will know zactly what i mean. a simple dungeon can end up destroying every single crystal on urself. death penalty is what kills and MMO when it comes to endgame raiding.

Here's some "zact" for you. FFXI had about 20 or 30 servers for its lifetime and reached only aout 500K players, might've hit a million, and the game today is still pay to play and is hardly a failure considering it lived for 10 years. 15 servers in Korea, if that's true, is not a failure. All devs have to over anticipate at launch and they forsee the possibility of dropping or merging servers down the road. You don't need 10 million subs to be a success and if any dev expects that, in a saturated market still dominated by the crapfest WoW, then they're delusional. And fyi going f2p doesn't even mean a game failed, it means the dev will profit more from the free model by bringing in more people and sucking them dry out of their money through micro transactions which are the devil.
