Maguscreed's Post History

You guys seriously need to get off the 'skill' high horse. Everything in this mmo operates in patterns just like pretty much all the other mmo's. Knowledge is easily as powerful as this 'skill' you speak of. If you are one of those people that base your self worth on how well you do in video games. I can't really help you. For the rest of you take off your skill glasses and see it all for what it really is.
I'm not saying this as some motivation for you leaving the game quite the opposite.
You're never going to get anything fixed right as long as you are on this self entitlement 'skill' system.
If by fixed you mean changed in such a way that you find an entirely new reason to hate the mechanic, then yes, I think it will be.

I heard people from Celestial Hills were the nicest people ever in a gaming community...

I'd be tempted to roleplay an alt as 'the silent one' and enjoy the kindness. :-)

I actually did this, made a little toon and just went to events as him. Didn't really talk too much my only real complaint is some people are so buried into the rp that it actually is damn near impossible to even try to talk to them. Several groups have apparently even made up their own long winded ways of speaking in code.

Mixed signals from that community as a whole to be fair.

oh yeah vast majority of the time it's fine, it's when high reflections or effects come into play that the frames turn to garbage. Of course the 'sky is not a limit' latencies in nexus just compound it even worse first you are getting the reflection problem with the ui then you are also bombarded with packet loss and general connection fail.
The connection stuff probably can't be completely fixed ever, it can be greatly improved on though.
It's the Fact that certain things act against the UI the way they do that drives me nuts.
Playing no UI is doable of course, but it shouldn't be necessary.
No machine no matter how powerful is going to really push this game properly until they deal with the horrible integration of the scaleform UI. It robs so much performance from this game overall it's ridiculous.
You know all of this noise, the only impression I get from it is people want a actual arena based pvp experience, but are getting a lottery pvp experience.

you can do it cross 2 or 3 monitors using nvidia surround... it is an option that the newer nvidia cards have. you need 2 of the exact same monitor, as well as 2 gpus in sli.

totally forgot about that, they don't have to be the exact same monitor, they do have to have the same resolution and refresh rate though.
I remember the old thread you are talking about.
To my knowledge no solution was actually found.
It's actually a old problem with the unreal engine, not this game specifically.
If you can trick the app specifically into span mode it might run for you.

Well it's all been trolling if we're fair about it, because the problem is sourced in the game.
I can't blame players for using exploits or taking advantage of situations in their favor.
Many people do in reality consider all that nonsense part of playing the game.
I don't have to agree with it.
I don't have to be their friends, but there it is.

This entire argument on both sides is caused largely by problems with matchmaking, the way parties work, and well frankly a bunch of little things many of which could probably be fixed with a few lines of scripting in the right places.

Raging against each other doesn't really amount to anything productive though.
So I call troll thread, and maybe I have done so unfairly as I haven't called it out when I saw the other side of the argument, and I should have.

I'm not trying to be a troll or a hypocrite but I'm dangerously close to becoming both just by posting after leaving that image. I felt it should be said though.
