Speaking of which, how long exactly are support ticket queues nowadays? Was their solution of getting rid of the only way to actually talk to a staff member (live chat) effective?

I don't know their finances, nor their server structure, but I would indeed hope that they bought and implemented backup server(s). Although if it was at the datacenter, a backup there might not always work. Unless they were wealthy enough to have a backup at another location. But for a new company, that isn't often realistic.

AOL is still up?


Having a backup at the same data center would be stupid. It's like storing all your important documents on your internal SSD because it has a RAID setup, and not putting them on an external too. Then at night, a thief sneaks in and steals your computer. So much for that.

It could have been something going wrong at the datacenter. We just don't know. Either way, EME probably will not release details on what went wrong.


Then where is their fallback plan? Any good company knows that things go wrong and has a fallback. That's why websites like Google, Yahoo, and AOL are rarely, if ever, down. Lack of planning shows poor business practices.

One time I was going to open a new bank account, and I was told "Sorry, but our systems are down now. We will probably have them back in 2 hours". Needless to say, I opened the bank account with a different company.

For starters, you can't completely pin the blame on EME. Not everyone has this problem. Chances are it's your connection along the way to EME's servers. It's like blaming your dance instructor for not giving you your paid lessons when you can't make it to their studio because a meteor destroyed the main road to there.


Yes, you can pin the blame entirely on EME. If this was a connection issue, it wouldn't be so widespread, and regionally bound. EME has utterly failed to keep their servers functional yet again, and have proved incompetent, or possibly negligent, in discovering the cause.

I really fail to understand why you people continue to defend their ludicrous business practices, horrid pricing schemes, and broken gameplay.

So, 51 posts in this thread. I saw a grand total of 1 person who said they enjoyed it, and I believe that person was being sarcastic. So, in the end, everybody either hates it or ignores it.

So why is it still here if it is a "bug" that is universally despised?

So come on En Masse. Either remove it, or admit that you are a bunch of liars and admit that it is shameless advertising to maximize your profits.
Warriors are generally the best because they can stun lock you to death, close gaps, and dodge most of your attacks.

Archers come next because they can knock you down with radiant arrow and explosion trap, stun you with traps, and hit very hard. On the other hand, close the gap and they have very few escape mechanics.

Lancers are very close in that they have chain stuns and the shield smash attack hits hard. But they seem to do better in groups than in 1v1 since their general dps is low.

Sorcerers are next in that they have a very deadly 1v1 combo - Time Gyre, Sleep, run behind, fireblast. Their void pulse also hit very hard. But being cloth, they get hit hard by most classes.

Zerkers are low on the list. They have the ability to block attacks, but in an OWPVP/1v1 situation, just blocking isn't going to get you anywhere. They can knockdown, but their aim is usually atrocious.

Slayers are lowest. Their attacks generally don't hit as hard as they should, they don't have many stuns/knockdowns, and their dodging is usually poor.

Priest/Mystics are excluded, but if you're in 1v1 against them, 9 times out of 10 you will lose. They don't hit hard, but they can negate all damage you inflict.

I dont know why you are complaining about EME as an eu player.
They managed to fail at everything. Literally. I'd transfer my account to EME anytime if i had that option.

Taking this from eu website for 1year anniversary.
-Birthday Item Package for everyone
Just fire halo and some crap fireworks.
-Increased drop rate in dungeons
They didnt include MCNM and MCHM
-Special in-game event & chance to win a permanent mount for your character!
Spawn rate for boxes is ridiculously low. With 3hrs searcing, MAYBE you can find 2-3 boxes.
Oh forgot to mention about spellbind and mwa! spellbind is 250g ea and mwa is 230g ea.

Now, they found another way to troll us. They put elin maid outfits to rng boxes.
I've spent 500TT(about 30eur) and didnt get anything but merchant scrolls.

EME is way better than Gameforge, be happy.


I'll repeat what I've said about enchanting. Just because crap isn't diarrhea, doesn't mean it isn't crap.

Though they are actually having a free event in EU? It seems all the events we've been getting here you either have to pay for strongbox keys, or are just a double drop rate.

I don't really care about them and don't read them most of the time, is that so annoying?


Perhaps not annoying to you, maybe annoying to others. But my question is if you enjoy this feature of the game?
So it seems every time Tera adds a loot box, when you get what you want, they plaster a message across the screen.Do you like seeing these messages?
