Malaise's Post History

Welcome to the server!

Like Liandreth/Serenity said, there are tons of great guilds on this server. It is definitely the friendliest server I've been on in any game.

Look around, there are lots of options, and good luck!

Buy property and build 3 houses on it: 1 for my mom, 1 for me, 1 for my ex-husband. This way Talon could walk to anyone's house he wants.

Buy Horses

Invest soundly and retire.

Travel everywhere, rent a sherpa and tip him outrageously

Donate time and money to worthwhile charities.

Cure Crohn's, or at least help fund the research.

I'm going to be boring all summer so that my son can do fun stuff = )

He's at camp right now, having a ball. And hopefully he and my mom will get to Atlanta to see the Whale Sharks at the aquarium.

Brizzy has always seemed pretty decent, so I'm going to chalk it up to poor wording for the time being = )

Hopefully that rule will change and people from other servers will start being viewed as humans who deserve the same respect/chance as people on SI, even if they can't vote.

I love to be in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. So I don't have any particular place in mind, just take me away = )

I love animals, all types. I have 2 rescue cats, and want some dogs but we are in a tiny apartment and 2 cats fill the place already.

I also really want a snake and some birds. Again, space is the limiting factor.

QueenB,

The 3 characters I'm most likely to be on are:

Sipka
Nettles
Millew

Feel free to message me in game (Millew is 40 and I duo with an archer so we're almost able to team with you)

I'll be home late-ish tonight but you're more than welcome to hop on vent and chat with me.

Kith and Kin seems like a definite fit as far as your personality goes. Great group of people who are always willing to lend a hand. I'll be honest though, it can get a bit empty from time to time so I don't know how often you'd be able to get a guild group together for instances. I rarely instance and I'm always on vent so I'm horribly guilty of not paying a ton of attention to guild chat but it seems to ebb and flow with activity. We are a small friendly guild and there are advantages and disadvantages anytime you say 'small and friendly' (at least in regards to guilds, 'small and friendly' is a win win with dogs :P)

Check out the website: http://kithandkin.enjin.com/home

Give us a shout if you want to talk.

If not, there are a LOT of great guilds out there, it's a wonderful server. Good luck!

Hahaha, that one is pretty epic too :P

Wow, great question. I have so many moments that are really memorable its hard to narrow it down to even a few. I could write a novella on this, but I will try to stick to just the one that is most special to me.

When Goldeneye came out a buddy of mine lent it to me for a week in the summer just to share its awesomeness. Two of my brothers, who are not gamers by any stretch, sat down to try it out with me. We played at least 20 hours straight, and really bonded for the first time since we were little kids. We were so instantly addicted to playing the game together that we all asked for it for Christmas. My ma tends to buy things way way early, and one of my brothers spotted hercarrying it into the house about a week later. This was around June, so we obviously couldn't wait until Christmas. Employing some 007 maneuvers of our own, we found the game and replaced the cartridge with another n64 game.

We thereafter started almost every summer day playing Goldeneye together. When we got a bit stir crazy, we went out and did things together, which we ordinarily never would have done. It sounds cheesey, but that video game really brought the three of us together, and that remains one of the best summers of my life. One of those brothers is no longer with us, which just makes it all the more poignant for me.

Does it count as a moment if it lasts a summer?

Wander, you just won this thread.

*gives you a trophy and a hug*
