What like...it's been awhile..any chance we can get a heads up or something about when we are going to get them? :/
We are currently looking for a replacement dps for our MC HM Static, as our sorc went on vacation for..awhile and may or may not be back.
Currently we have the instance on farm and are set up as such:
War Tank
War dps (Who sometimes comes on slayer depending his mood)
Archer
Priest
Quills are negotiable, please PM Aliena in game or send a message here. Thank you.\
Times and days are flexible, currently we run 2-4 times depending, and run from 3-4 days a week.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all. It's a skill thing. I can solo LOT to on my archer. If you're good enough you can solo or duo or whatever as well. It's a reward for being good at what you do. You get better and you get more rewards. Id be more annoyed if you couldnt.

90% of the archers here are 60 and either abyss, regent or VM. Go. Shoo. Let the big boys and girls talk. :) Nothing is wrong with our damage. Bad players give out bad dps. Simple as that.
I'm well aware of the hit we take at 12 meters. I've played with it extensively to make sure I know where it's at and how to stay within it. Also it does affect damage pretty severely even at 54.

D'aw thank you illusoire. My rotation literally doesnt even have SPACE for a poison arrow. :3 Besides, im a crit build, power is not my cup of tea. That being said if you're in love with poison arrow go for it. Please do not tell even try to tell me im a bad archer because I don't like using a skill that is weak, has static damage, and I don't even have room for in my rotation. What separates a good archer from a bad archer is the willingness to experiment. :3

Well, my feelings are hurt. I don't maintain my poisons stacks because i'm a bloody VM archer and after a certain point the minor extra dps I get from the poison arrow I feel is outstripped by an OC. especially on queen. My glyph set up doesn't leave room for the extra duration and frankly, I just don't like it. Thats what is awesome about archer though, you're not locked into having to use these skill set-ups like a lot of class.
Each person is different, hey I see a lot of people running around with a pure power set up. Do I think this is a waste? Yes. Is it wrong? Probably not, havn't messed around with it.
Oh. And my guide is for level 60. While you're leveling and while you're under geared YES totally keep poison up it's awesome. Later on though I just don't like it. :3
That guide is subpar. The author doesn't even maintain poison stacks... (probably one of the bits you disagree'd with?). Which we all know is one of those small things that separate a good archer from a bad archer. In any case, I used that guide when I was learning. Asked questions etc etc. And now I can say it's not the greatest guide. Take with a grain of salt for sure.
@ The OP - Stay close, stay at the mobs back (reposition while charging pa/ra), never stop attacking and maintain poison. Using RoA & Et when they're up is a given. Also, for AOE damage, don't forget... ET isn't the only ranged trap that does damage =P. You can put out quite the burst of AOE damage if you use all the tools at your disposal.

Archer's are actually very good dps if you play them right. You just have to be able to play them right.
You are talking about completely different roles here, so you cannot compare them.
Berserker you are there to deal damage to your enemy.
Lancer you are there to control your enemy and help optimize your DPS(Berserker) to deal more damage.
Archer you are there to troll your team by considering yourself a DPS(Berserker) class.
Archer's are actually very good dps if you play them right. You just have to be able to play them right.
Right, i'll believe it when I see it. We havn't gotten even a teaser for the NA version of the Federation Update. So. You know.
Uhm...a lot of fights the boss has to be in a certain spot...reguardless.. I mean..just...move...a little..if the tank is able to hold aggro let him do whatever the hell he wants as long as he keeps it in one spot.
