The point is, when someone is posting how "so and so is a shady player", that may be not a genuine warning, but just lying about the person out of spite or for the lulz. And that does do harm.

That's why it's a community matter and it should be left alone by the mods in cases like this. If the info is false, the community will usually oust it relatively fast through multiple testimonials; likewise, if the info is true, the community will confirm it through multiple testimonials. Hiding the names does nothing but give the scammers more time to continue doing what they're already doing.

What is PETA? I have only heard of STBF.

Oh you.
So, how many members of ASL are also members of PETA?

Because you could be lying. That's why callouts aren't allowed. To protect the innocent.

The innocent? Pfft. Ahaha. I needed that laugh.

But in all seriousness, there's a limit for these kinds of things. Stopping call outs because someone doesn't like the way they act or their attitude? Sure, none of that; but if you're doing a "call out" that warns the community as a whole to avoid certain shady players; that's not doing any harm.

Removing the threads and posts that warn the community is tantamount to being party to the thievery and scamming that goes down. That's right, mods who shall remain nameless because you'd probably just edit it out anyway (and you know who you are), you're part of the problem.

Boy, I'm so glad I know who to avoid so that I don't get scammed. Glad to know that edit, edit, edit, and edit are tricking people.

Thanks Minea!

It's jTERA and threads on it already as well...

Well here's another then; also, you're implying it's not gonna eventually appear in KTera.

Discuss and think of it as you will, just realize we probably won't see this (for those that are interested) until roughly September or October, and that's being generous, given EME's turnover rate on content.

They can't release what they don't have.

Except that they have it. They've had it for a long time. Maid outfits? They had that in January, didn't release until March. The Munchhausen Mount? They had that in January, didn't release until just now. The Unicorn mount? Yep, they have that already in the NA files too, and that we don't have even unlocked yet. There's a ton of content that they have, they they're choosing not to release, mostly because they feel that spacing out the content will somehow breathe life into the game, but it doesn't. It just pisses people off that are tired of waiting.

"We one shot it."
"That's not what I heard."
"You heard wrong. I don't know who's feeding you this information, but it was most definitely a one-shot."

Oh no, these guys may or may not have one-shot new content, and my opinion of them will change based on whether or not it was a one-shot, or if it was instead a two-shot. If it wasn't a one-shot, then they're clearly scum, and they have every reason to defend the one-shot they claim they have, because if it leaked out that it wasn't a one-shot, then their reputation would be ruined, because obviously outward appearance and e-peen are all that matter on the interwebs.

Honestly, people. You killed it first on your respective servers. Who gives a [filtered] if it took one attempt or three?
