Muffinz's Post History

i7 2600, 8GB DDR3, 560 Ti
and I average 12 to 15 frames on Nexus - preset 3; 0 Background distance/quality and Texture/Characters to Max (Shadows off, havn't tested with on yet though); 0 Landscape (landscape takes a lot of frames up!)

I found it weird that despite having the rendered players to be about 10 or so, I was still getting no increase for my frames. So when I bumped it up to 50 players I was still on the same frame rate regardless.

There's not even a scrap piece mentioned about Tera for Australian rules/laws, they probably don't even know this game exists. However since EME caters to Americans, if the Australian government decided it needed censorship - it'd be too much much work for EME that they'd just give the finger to them.
Which would likely result in us getting blocked if anything which wont happen on either side because EME doesn't fall under Australian Law.

Im Australian, and I've had no problems buying, downloading or playing Tera so far. It's all worked fine and there hasnt even been any lag.

There is lag, and has been lag, you just don't notice it because it's a pretty okay system. Long story short, your DPS suffers unless you're a beserker/sorcerer/mystic/priest.

Also I buy using a Mastercard Debit Card and it works just fine.

Looks handy to me.
I use it to get people back up when they get knocked down, mostly the tank, but only when they've used their retaliate because retaliate is pretty strong. If you do it when they have retaliate then they wind up jumping anyway.
Priest, definitely. Though the tally is that the amount of survivability Priest has is over kill, but if you're grouping with randoms it's just enough lol...

Pretty much what Leiloni said, but if you're going to work on others - we also get a strong heal where you can move and cast it at the same time; as well as a skill to lift everyone up off of the ground when knocked down (40 sec; can be glyphed for 20 sec cooldown.) which gives 5 seconds of more knockdown immunity (I think you can glyph it to double that to 10 sec as well)

With Kaia's shield making you immune to knockdown and that, you can pair it along side with Rise Again (lifts people instantly off the ground) to make it so people don't get stomped on the ground because their Retaliate is on cooldown.
For Serpentis Isle I'd say the most top three popular classes:
- Priest
- Slayer
- Warrior

then least popular
- Lancer
- Beserker
- Archer

in order from Most to Least
for level 60 at least
everyday i'm shuffling
mystics best heal is a lock on one you can track anywhere

our ones are lay down on the floor for people to run into

warriors always run around the room and off the cieling, everywhere but the circle q.q

I didn't say we're incapable, there's just a line between doing nothing, doing your job, then having high expectations -- you're there

I'm not saying every Priest has to play perfectly and be amazing to compare with a Mystic. Trust me... there is a noticeable difference between a bad Mystic and a good one as well. It's very hard to play a Mystic well.

What I'm trying to get across in this thread is that even if you cannot deal damage, debuff, buff, and heal all at the same time perfectly, you should at least TRY to do some of each during a boss fight. You can do all of those things. The Priest class is a healer's wet dream. You can do all the things healers from other MMOs can do plus DO DAMAGE! If you do those things you can compete with evenly skilled Mystics.

The problem right now is that Priests don't do those things so they end up being worse than bad Mystics. This causes a stigma where people would much rather prefer a Mystic when the case is a Priest is just as good, if not much better for some fights.

So you let a triple nemesis debuff fall off a few times. You don't get in close enough to DPS once in a while. You have to occassionally scramble to heal because you made a mistake. So what? You don't have to play perfectly. Just like most Mystics won't play perfectly. However, Priests should at least play PROPERLY so it's not nearly as painful having one run with you in a PuG.

Having a PuG Priest is just that... painful. If you don't have good DPS carrying the Priest and your DPS is in 138 ilvl gear, you're in for a rough ride. I'm better off kicking you and getting a Mystic instead.

thats a pretty good explaination, I'll ditch some of my heal glyphs for Triple Nemesis one now

but over all it still sounds like you want a mystic and that your taste buds will never be satisfyed with a priest
