There is only a cooldown if you reset the dungeon while inside...

Is this intentional? If so, why? Sounds like a bug or design flaw to me.

...You honestly want to sit there and tell me that people will still do it the tough way 9 out of 10 times? Bullsnot, people always will and have chosen the easier option.

I had a friend roll an alt, and it was always a constant grind and rush through every little quest we could up until we were able to use the LFD, then it was quest only while LFD was searching.

...

Hu? Are you saying that they should design the game so players are forced to do things "the tough way"?

Also, what is bad about questing only while LFD is searching. Isn't this the best case scenario for those of us who prefer doing instances instead of questing? If you don't like LFD or instances in general then just quest.

I seriously don't get it. Where's the problem with LFD? You think LFG chat spam builds community? Come on guys.
I think the leveling curve is fine. If you make it take too long then players will lose interest and move on before endgame.

There really isn't any significant penalty if leveling is too fast, but there is likely to be a very big penalty if it is too slow. Think WoW vs Aion. You might not like how fast leveling is in WoW, but it is a heck of a lot better than Aion (at least when it first came out which is the only time I played it).

Please set the default loot options to:
1. Uncommon as the minimum grade for which a roll is required.
2. Loot is class restricted = True

I've been in 10+ PUGs for dungeons and requests to change the loot rules were brought up almost every time. In every one of these occasions players wanted class restrictions to be enabled. Setting the threshold to uncommon was the most popular. Some players preferred setting the threshold to rare, but I suggest uncommon as the default because it is more conservative.
/signed.

Your web site needs the same feature. It is the only one 12+ that I visit where I have to retype my email every time.

I'm guessing that remembering your email could also help improve security because a keylogger would only be able to "see" somebody's password.
I love it when the game's own names for mobs and items are censored.
I'd rather have a situation where crystals break but then can be repaired by any vendor.

Running to a crystal vendor and finding the one you need gets annoying. Especially when you consider that you already have to sit by a fire for several minutes and run back to mob that killed you.

And, sure, I could kill easy trash and never die, but where is the fun in that? Soloing BAMs that are higher level than me is what this game all about IMO. Well, that and PvP and instances :D.
The graphics and optimizations in this game are amazing. I don't have a high end system yet the game runs silky smooth at 1920x1200 with full settings.

Sounds like the OP has hardware and/or driver issues.

Let me clarify how threat works in this game (which is awesome).

You can tank something for 10 minutes.
A new group joins in outthreating you for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds, their new threat out threats your 10 seconds of threat, so...
They pull threat.

Basically in a nutshell (10 is a placeholder number, not exact) the threat generation is really only kept for about 10 seconds.

And this is how it should be. Makes the mobs seem much more intelligent.
I agree that cross server LFD is the way to go.

Those who feel a sense of community from spamming LFG chat and/or running across several maps can continue to do so. But, those of us who have lives outside of MMOs would like to log on and get to the kick-butt combat ASAP.
