Ill run from a 1v1 especially when someone runs up to you and you are half stamina and still fighting a mob that is not dead yet. Why would I stay and fight only to die casue I was half HP at the start thats a not 1v1.

I pvp with no crystals and no stamina, and I just said I wait for their mobs to die. 9/10 I'm not full health either - not a big deal.

How are they supposed to know that?

When I'm killing mobs and I see someone flagged I will almost always run because it's very rare that that person is alone, and he almost definitely has the advantage on me in terms of HP/Stamina. When I'm with a group though I'll gladly stand and fight. One of my best experiences this beta was a 5v5v5 fighting over the labyrinth world boss.
A huge part of the problem this CBT was that there was nothing to do at level 32. Next beta, which will end at level 38 (I assume, since it's the next instance) will be better because those level 38s have other things to do.
The Pegasus landing in Cutthroat Harbor is open PvP. That was not a very warm welcome to the new area...

I was actually wondering this myself. I imagine, if it were true, it would kind of even itself out. If you look at the size of the sword or halberd on a Baraka for example, you can imagine that those massively sweeping attacks would easily hit something small like an Elin. Not to mention the greatly extended reach they appear to have. Where as being big themselves, it makes them much easier to be hit as well.

But then I haven't really played around with the hit boxes. Anyone know definitively?

Pretty sure they came out and said something to this extent. They aren't all the same but they were normalized a little bit. Some races have longer reach, but those same classes have bigger hitboxes.

follow these steps to pick a class

1. create character/choose race, blahblahblah
2. choose class that looks interesting
3. play in the game as that class
4. if you don't have fun playing that class, delete and go back to step 1. repeat as many times as necessary
5. ???
6. profit?

+1
Seriously what's up with these topics asking random people what to play?
Just play the game and try out stuff, we can't read your mind and know what you'll like or hate.

The point is that he is telling you what he likes and since his knowledge of Tera isn't that deep, he is asking people who (supposedly) know more about Tera than he does to find a class that fits his list of likes.

As for my suggestion, I know warrior can solo most things quite well (see the warrior class guide, he has tons of videos of him soloing BAMs). The grind is definately more engaging than say an archer, so maybe that would be more fun for you.

Depends on the player not the class

Ok I'll humor you...

Same player playing both class which will be better in a mirrior match 1v1.

Fighting himself basically...

Then they will go roughly 50:50.

From what I have read Warrior and Slayer are roughly even matched, although there is a slight edge for the slayer. So it is pretty much whoever plays better will win.
I had a friend claiming a warrior tank was impossible in mansion.. and then I see this video of you doing it without a healer. That's impressive, well done.
I just got back from GameStop. You can reserve a copy for $5 and get a beta key.

Edit: He didn't give me the key at first, I had to ask for it because it didn't print on the recipt.
