Were that scenario to happen, EME better have a demonstrated record of action or intolerance within a reasonable purview of what they can control - be them dutiful follow up or investigation of in game accusations of that type of crime or whatever.
If at any time it is found that they were not aggressive enough to follow a policy of zero tolerance that's gonna be about it.

Players cannot handle it. Watching what the pro-censors say. The way they grasp at straws. Here are the facts there are no " charges" anyone can level. No laws were broken. If charges can be leve3lled against Bluehople, or EME please educate us by naming them,. Secondly there is a HUGE " M rated" On the box. So anyone that sees something while their kid.( who should not even have the game to begin with) is playing needs to do a better job parenting.
Some players have a serious problem with Elin, because :
1. they see a child where there is none.
2. They see sex where most average, healthy americans see skin.

With the exception of her comment regarding prices, I pretty much disagree with her.
1. It's a SUMMER event. EME could have just kept it strictly seasonal and not even give us the option to buy them for keeps. Hell, EME could have just kept it strictly to the game lore and not even give us any of this summer or whimsical stuff, which totally look out of place anyway. But they did, so let's just be thankful.
2. They're all cosmetic gear... as in, they're not game-breaking. Would you have preferred that they actually had buffs, which influence people to buy these items, and thus give "cash shop consumers" unfair advantages over those who refuse to buy? ........ Yeah, thought so.
3. Think of this event as a "free trial" for you to actually see how the armors look. Like it? Buy it. EME could've just scrapped the event entirely and gone straight to selling the outfits at the store without even letting you preview them.
4. EME needs to cover costs (servers, staff, etc.), then break even, and eventually make a profit. Basically, EME needs a lot of money right now. And if the forums filled with whiners and goodbye threads are any real indication, then we should know that paid subs are not enough. Remember guys, EME is a new company; they're not like Blizzard or Bioware who have thousands if not millions of fanatics ready to throw their money away at every product they make.
5. Ultimately, it's about choice. You can choose to buy the Summer gear and be done with the drama, or not. You can stick to the in-game events, or not even participate at all (which should lessen the competition of finding these chests for those of us who are actively seeking them).
1) Not really, I don't need to be thankful for anything. If they hadn't of made permanent versions of the swimsuits this wouldn't be an issue.

3) You shouldn't use an event as a reason to hook people into a free trial thing with a game that is pay to play. That is a free2play game tactic and even still a lot of those still provide permanent costumes in game, and sell a larger selection in their cash shops
4) You would be surprised what server actually cost ([filtered]in peanuts), 15$ a both is already making them a profit, saying they need more money to cover costs on top of the subscription that is supposed to cover said operating costs is a poor excuse. Cash shop items is strictly for profit.
5) Yes it is about choice, we can also choose to take our money to a company that will at least not make it feel like they are just after the money in our wallets. EME isn't a company that knows how to do this.

Ok that aside. An event should be in game only, as a way of getting people to edxplore the event. I personally have no isse with it either being with stats or just the skin...if it's within game only.
When you add the suit as a permanent item on the cash shop, you are selling permanence. And it is no longer intended as an item to encourage gameplay, and exploration. Instead the temporary nature of the in game item, is intended to hook people to buy it from the cash shop that would never buy it from the cash shop.
This is like the drug dealer at the party, that sees you don't use drugs, gives you a free toke of cocaine. He knows you might come back for more, and when you do, he charges then.
Hook you in with a sexy swimsuit with a timer... then reel you in. The fact that it's $10 for 3, or 10... or 100 is Irrelevant. The tactic is still kind of scummy.
Saying over and over and over." it's a cosmetic item, so it's ok." is simply your opinion. The fact that everyone that believes it repeats it over and over and over, does not elevate this opinion to the level of a fact. Just because they say it, does not make it so.
