If it's considered spam, why would he single out our guild when tons of other guilds do it as well? No, this is bullying at it's finest because he knows we have plenty of low levels for them to gank. Also, I post one ad once every 15 to 20 minutes, possibly longer depending on what I am doing in the game so it is not as if I post every 5 minutes to where it becomes annoying. Furthermore, the rest of the community enjoys the advertisements, and say so on both global chat and in PM to me. So it is just this very small guild who has a problem. It still doesn't eradicate the argument that he could have avoided this if he and his FIVE whole members just blocked me to prevent themselves from seeing the "spam". So you siding with him is a bit unfounded, imo.

So as those of you who are aware, around 9pm CST an argument occured on Global chat between the guild leader of Vindictive Five and myself. Mind you, I am not the guild leader of Shadows Edge. I merely volunteered to do the advertising. I had recently logged in and posted ONE advertisement for the guild when I received these messages from the guild leader of Vindictive Five.
Shortly after this, GvG was declared on Shadows Edge and I received another PM from Dongle that said "It is your problem now".
I'm sorry, I love PvP. I love GvGs... but when you hold violence over someone else's head in a VIDEO GAME to prevent them from advertising their guild in a way that is seen as humorous by the rest of the community, that is when it gets ridiculous. Last I checked, I still had the Freedom of Speech. Furthermore, why resort to threats when if he dislikes the ads he could have simply clicked the block button?

For one thing, when you use words like "jumped ship", "taken the easy way out", "abandoned their province" among other things you said in that short assimilation of words, it comes across as hostile.
Furthermore, we already have a handle on it for the members who were logging in wondering where we went. They either had notes in their parcel posts or were on a guild member's list to which she whispered them personally to inform them that we had moved. We DO have a guild website and I posted a news thread there as well to inform our guild members that we had moved. With all the information out there, they would find it one way or another, especially with a handful of members lingering to tell those who may still be unaware.
And that sounded quite backhanded in an apology, as well. "Sorry if I mentioned that you went back on a promise" as you're basically putting it there. Also, I never promised to aid FreeHolds. I was talking about Tera as a whole. FreeHolds is dying, there is no helping that. The server will eventually be merged with another server or the people in it will be scatted to one server or another. Those are the breaks. My friends and in-game family are moving and the guild is following them all to Dragonfall. People are leaving to go to Dragonfall or Basilisk Craig (or whatever other server with more people) because it is well known that a server with more people tends to be more fun. The benefits to transferring outweigh the cons, IMO and thats why the guild moved. I'm sorry if people don't like it but in the end they don't dictate where we go. The guildies and the GL do.

^ Ok, for one thing Raiyna I do not appreciate you coming to this thread to start crap by badmouthing my guild for our decision to move. We are moving because many members said they wanted to, and our members were moving regardless of if we left or not and because we are a FAMILY, we followed them to where they wanted to go. Secondly, Dragonfall because it is more popular will have more items and other things that are beneficial to the guild.
Its one week before elections end, and the only thing that really needs to stay open is the shop. In a small low-level area like Arcadia its not that big of a deal. It has recently come to my attention that there has been talk in area chat throughout FreeHolds that people believe that our guild has been on the decline due to some inactivity on my part. I'd like to put those rumors to rest by stating they are not true. Our guild is actually doing better than ever, gaining new members every day with many members constantly leveling and having fun in gchat.
Now, life has gotten in the way of my logging into Tera the past week but thankfully the aforementioned issues have resolved themselves and I am planning to continue my reign as GL to Burning Rose and as Vanarch of Arcadia.
