Looked around a bit and didn't see anyone else suggesting this, sorry if someone has already.
What if, when you enter a safezone, it takes 5-10 seconds to actually become safe from PVP. That way people can't just run into a safezone with 500 health left and do /dance at you in a guild war or whatever.
Yup, we had lots of people running to safezones too.
What if.
When you enter a safezone it takes 10 seconds for you to become unPVPable (totally a real word)
That way if your chasing someone you can still take them out, but you can't be ganekd while using the bathroom or messing with your gear in the safe zone.
300k sounds reasonable - After all, I WANT to be able to afford, between our guild, to GvG from level 11 onwards as it makes the levelling experience 10x better :D
What I dislike is the fact that it only cost a TINY amount to surrender.
I could understand this when/If GvG is implemented on PvE servers and a guild decides they no longer agree to the war, but why is it so cheap on PvP servers?
IMO, the surrender one should be 10x more than the declare one on PvP servers. This cost discrepancy just discourages PvP on the PvP server which is wrong IMO.
Very glad they won't be 3mil though for sure.
Imagine, you are a guild of maybe 30, and one of your members called the leader of the biggest meanest zerg guild a butthole and he declares war on your tiny guild, witch has several low level players. Your guild is going to get constantly destroyed by the enemies who are searching for you to get points unless you surrender.
I think if you declared the war, surrender should cost a lot more, but if you were declared on it shouldn't.
Whats with the new Change? If it where level 32 they probably griefed at the end of beta cause they will probably white next beta again. In normal game they stay read for 10 hours or killing 120 mob his own level per kill. So griefers should be pretty fast in the range of days they are permanent red. Sure they can sit it out. or stay there griefing. But its gonna get pretty hard killing mobs his own level because he has to fight all those whites in the same area at his own level.
Exactly, when release comes people will find out that being an outlaw for several days really sucks, they won't in beta because that only lasts 3 days and they have max level in the first day or two of it.
This is a [filtered] game, I shouldn't go to jail.
I will add my two cents as I experienced both ends of the spectrum.
300 Infamy: Can be attacked in safe zones.
- Now you cant run.. you must be a constant target everywhere.
- With not being able to see peoples levels, some lowbie ganks might/can happen so this shouldnt be to tough on someone.
700 Infamy: Hostile NPC's IE Camps and Towns (Cities not included)
- At this point your obviously looking for trouble, grats you got it.
1200 Infamy: NPC merchants will not deal with you. (Major Cities Included)
- Now you get to suck it up as an Outlaw from all parties.
2000 Infamy: No more anywhere for joo! (Cant not enter Cities, Towns, or Camps and NPC remain hostile, no Merchant love)
- You are truly and outlaw and outcasted from any civilized place. Your super cool!
Why do retards roll on a PvP server expecting only fair fights?
ALSO HEARD OF CHANNELS, CHANGE THEM, AND MULTIPLE PATHS TO A DESTINATION, USE THEM.
How brain dead are people that they can't figure out simple concepts. Want perfectly fair fights every time, roll on a PvE server and when you see someone your level sitting nicely, challenge them to a [filtered] duel or deathmatch.
Jesus [filtered] why is this so [filtered] hard to grasp, I am [filtered] mad.
I don't understand why people play on pvp servers at all. It's usually just a bunch of level capped bullies picking on everyone while having their ego's stroked. "PVP servers are great, i can get murdered by someone 20 times my level again and again and again, who needs to actually play the game?"
This is why almost all pvp oriented games and servers turn into ghost towns after awhile. The new people are scared off and all them hard-core pvpers quite cause there's no one to pvp.
Gues what dude.
People like different [filtered].
Some people like rocky road icecream, I hate it. The people that like it aren't [filtered] retarded, they just like different things.
know on sunday the bridge was camped for several hours by one(I think? maybe more) group.
So as to not prevent players from bottlenecking those who are trying to quest, mayhaps EME could make it so that lock-on skills don't work on those on horses? I could easily see a guild shutting down an area otherwise.
I don't think that would stop it at all, its not hard to shoot a dude off a horse if you're an archer.

That's because people don't care about infamy since it's beta
I spent all Sunday at 9999 infamy killing noobs
If this was retail, I wouldn't have done that since it would make me an outlaw for over a month
Yeah, I shoulda talked about that more. It IS a beta, and beta's aren't like release.
