Im gonna split your response into sections so i can make the whole thing seem like a pointless post.
1) Your "maybe" strike - So you agree with the KD Nerf on all your skills/auto attacks but you dont agree with Nerf on a skill that KDs as well 100% of the time?
Why does having a skill that has a 100% chance to KD PLUS all your other skills that have a "chance" to KD not seem like the class is OP to you while the classes you come up against only have 1 skill that they can use to get back up from you chain KDs.
2) Back stab being glitchy? charge skills being glitchy? If they are glitchy on non flat surfaces and knowing that they don't work on non flat surfaces why do you bother using them and then complaining that they don't work on those surfaces? why not just find another way to get in closer like preventing the ranged class from running away or dodging you by using your dodges and cutting them off OR by using distance blade, which i might add also has a chance to KD the opponent.
3) So basically what you are saying is that if you lose to a slayer it means the player using the slayer is good and the people playing the opposing class are bad and if the slayer loses then the person playing slayer is bad. Dont you think that just because someone loses to a slayer calling them bad is a bit arrogant. Does it seem out of the world to you that the idea of the slayer class actually being overpowered?
I guess i do have to agree with the slayer being bad considering the amount of KD/gap closing skills they have. But then again you did say learning how to play slayer isnt that hard. So i guess the baddie slayers out there that lose to other classes are morons.
In the end these Nerf are a fraction of the things that can actually be done to make the playing field for any other class on par with slayers. Keep em' coming EME.
I can understand the nerfed for knockdowns on othermoves but not knockdown strike. Can youI imagine a move called knockdown strike that does not knockdown? Might as well rename it maybestrike. As a Slayer I knockdown opponents pretty often with overhand strike and even autoattack. That is just impact factor. But KD strike is a petty slowly executed ability with a very easy tell and is easily dodged, blocked or countered with a stun before you can get it off. Knockdown strike only feels OP because you were knocked down by another move or auto attack and you burned retaliate like a bad and ate a knockdown strike to the face right after.
Backstab and charge are pretty glitchy on anything but a completely flat surface.Ranged classes have a HUGE advantage over Slayers because of this not to mention the amount of, sleeps, stuns, slows, teleporting, disengaging, rooting abilities they have and the ability to pretty much two shot a slayer if they know what they are doing.
I am not saying g Slayers are not a powerful class or hard to learn. But if you are a sorcerer or an archer and you have trouble with slayers I would say its the player and not the class. Either you are fighting a good player and they would most likely beat you with any class or you are losing to a bad Slayer in which case you are even worse. L2PLAY.
