PocketFox's Post History

I suppose this is more an issue for RPers than PvE or PvP players, but I'm sure trying to operate in a place like Dragonfall is annoying for them too.

Please, PLEASE give us the option to turn off the /say emotes of NPCs without having to turn off /say altogether. It's teeth-grittingly, hair-pullingly, monitor-smashingly irritating trying to do anything in a place like, say, Dragonfall when literally every couple of seconds you're being spammed by the sikandari priests and their chatter about the egg and the ceremony.

Or, even better, just reduce the ridiculously large range of /say and /e.
To be honest, I don't know why this isn't already in place, but I really want to see an option to gift Premium Store purchases to other players. That's... that's about it really. Gift option plz.
I don't know if this counts as a petition or just a suggestion, but please please please get rid of those silly, inane, downright patronizing "tips" on the loading screens and bring back the lore tidbits that actually matched the screens.

In general, I'd think the more hardcore PvPers and PvErs wouldn't care -what- was on their loading screens, and the casual players, RPers, and lore nerds would much prefer a few lore insights as opposed to inanities like "nobody tanks or heals well with greasy fingers" or "don't flirt during BAM fights".
That's definitely a thought, although I'd be worried about the reception there too. X3 Considering I'm not actually a [filtered] man playing [filtered] men; I'm a woman playing mostly [filtered] men, rofl. But thank you for the suggestion, I might poke around there a bit.
Yes, I'm opening myself up to being flamed to hell and back for this, but whatevs, I'll risk it.

Since I started playing, I've been looking for the yaoi community on CH. I would have thought with castanics and high elves (and even amani and baraka, if you're like me XD), the yaoi RPers would have flocked to the game, but either I've been looking in the wrong places, or they just don't exist. I've had a few male characters flirt with mine, only to see them immediately backpeddle with "no, that's not my thing" the second my character responds.

Just to make this clear right off the bat: I AM NOT LOOKING TO HOOK UP FOR ERP. I'm just looking for like-minded RPers; that is, those who play male characters who are interested in other males as romantic partners as part of their story.
I already YouTubed the cinematic I was after, but it's just not the same, especially when you've got people talking over the dialogue, and there's someone else's joke race toon starring in it instead of my character. :(
Is there any possible way to rewatch cinematics? My game crashed right as a cinematic I hadn't seen started, so I missed the entire thing, and since it was part of a story quest, I couldn't just abandon the quest and watch it that way. I really wanted to see it!
Apparently it's a bug hitting Celestial Hills right now. It's also applying to trying to set any kind of status message.
If there is an option to turn it off, I haven't been able to find it, aside from one method that requires mucking around in the game files themselves. If you could direct me where to find the option -- sans snark, if you please -- I'd greatly appreciate it.
I understand wanting to keep various offensive words out of public chat, but I think things went a little overboard. The chat censors absolutely anything that could even possibly maybe even look like something offensive, often censoring perfectly innocuous words and scrambling the meaning of a message. An example: as I landed in Popolion for the first time, I commented in area chat that it's not what I thought it would look like. "Look like" was censored, and all I can figure out is because somehow, if you remove the L of "like", it becomes a racial slur. This strikes me as over-reacting just a little bit.

Not to mention their attempts to thwart goldsellers by blocking all website text doesn't work. People, the goldsellers included, just use different symbols to get their message across.

If you insist on keeping the censor as stringent as it is, please at least give us the option to turn it off.
