Pourvoir's Post History

I waited 25 minutes and never got a BoL group even though estimated time was 2 minutes... that's a problem. I like this games play style and love the graphics. En masse please save this game from dying :[

And on GvG being consensual: it is a Guild "War," since when were wars ever consensual. One country or guild in this case declares war and the other either prepares for war or doesn't and gets its [filtered] kicked.

Too bad video games aren't real life. Just read that in an upcoming update via their twitter that guilds will be able to refuse GvGs. Looks like you all lost your fulfillment of life. The majority speaks and battlegrounds are skill based.

Someone who wants battlegrounds implemented doesn't really have a valid opinion on the state of PvP. You're upset because you got beat by a superior guild. Maybe if your members knew how to not die (it's very simple to level with damn near immunity to ganks) you wouldn't have this problem.

Or you could, you know, level together as a guild instead of mass recruiting, then wanting the GvG and Vanarch system changed to suit your guild so that you can get ahead instead of adapting to the game. Just a thought.

Like I said the open world pvp lovers will bash because they think they know everything. Superior guild being 39 members to 130+ and only we have higher levels? Or is a guild superior because instead of reaching endgame content they're trying to beat a guild that they know has low members? I defended my points already so I pray for your reading comprehension to improve. and uhh guess since liking battlegrounds means i'm bad thats why every single MMO with PvP at a tournament uses battlegrounds and not ganking? and i'm not upset, more annoyed at the imbalance of GvGs. Looks like you're upset cause my post ideas would ruin your no skill ganks... you must be one of the 30s ganking 15s trying to prove something mirite? truth hurts i know.
We have a 130+ person guild atm and we keep getting GvGd by these small 30 person guilds and I find it really unfair that a 30 person guild can win against a bigger guild so easily. How the heck are we going to find any of those people in all of the games zones and all the games channels? Its a very small chance to find anyone and most likely only a few of those 30 people will be online.

Now I know all pro-open world pvp players are going to say "well that's what you get for being a zerg guild" but that's simple idiocy. We should lose because we want to find more members to have a strong foundation and great group of people to play a game with? No. I also dislike that you can't reject the GvG. I like the idea of it being a consentual thing where the guild members can meet up in a zone (a zone JUST for GvGing would be cool) and have a big battle but these other guilds gvg us then take level 30+ people and kill our lower levels in lumbertown and such and then when we come to help... they hide in town or just leave so we waste our time. I prefer battlegrounds for the simple reason of there is more action and it's a more fair fight (I know you open world pvp lovers hate those).

I'm 49 atm and have been working towards cap so I haven't cared at all about GvGs because they don't matter since they don't get you anything and getting endgame content running in the guild is more important to me then tracking down low levels to kill that gives me no gain. However, I don't like that guilds can put up their win ratio by using these cheap tactics in GvGs. I think that unless a guild hits the max point limit, which should probably be lowered because 2000 points is fairly high, then it should be a draw because it shows it was most likely not a consentual GvG if the points are not even or barely hitting the 100s. There's a lot of neat stuff they could do with the GvGs, like have that be the deciding factor for vanarch instead of it being a corrupt popularity contest (people buying votes with gold here they come).

This is what infamy is for, folks. Good developers do not balance PVP around early levels, it's a no brainer.

On the flip side it's extremely fun to go to lower zones and kill people in a warring guild's newbies over and over until they send higher level dudes to protect them. Then you get a fun guild war going on. Yay world pvp.

More like you run away because you don't want a fair fight... had this happen SO many times in our guild.
I'm on valley of titans because my friends wanted to be on a PvP server and honestly, I don't get it. I mean if you're bad and can never win a fair fight I can see you prefering open world PvP, which is what I've mostly seen from PKers (never had a PKer fight me 1v1 even if they're a level ahead) but battlegrounds are where its at. When I think of having fun of pvp I want a semi-fair fight where I'm against people that are around my level and can't run into a town. I also like being able to get rewards from pvp like exclusive gear and mounts. The majority prefers battlegrounds so they'll be doing it. You could always play aion... i think we all know how popular that game is (only world pvp fails games).
I like to have my desktop's wallpaper be whatever game I'm currently into and with how gorgeous TERA is it's really disappointing that there are no official wallpapers to download. En Masse should fix that. I know there's junk I can find on the net but I'd like it to be right from the game company.
What's wrong with you?
