Pr0jectseph's Post History

Firstly, I am Australian, so I do wonder if there are any Aussie guilds people know of?
(Although it's not crucial)

Secondly, I am currently on Jagged Coast. And the server status 'says' high pop, But it's like a ghost town from what I've seen (I'm a lvl 40 Archer).

Is VoT quite populated? I really don't see a point in playing an MMO if I'm pretty much alone (90% of my questing has been solo and I haven't seen another player unless it's in a town/city)

Lastly, I do love the PvP.

How is it on VoT?

thanks for your time~

Hi JC!

This is the most recent pic of me that I use on my website.

If you are on a PVE server...take the free transfer and go to Dragonfall. There are alot of people there.

Cheers, but I did say:

I shouldn't HAVE to be part of a guild.

Don't play an MMO then.

This is the kind of mindset that makes me weep for humanity.

Why, if you can enlighten me, does a game under the genre of Massively Multiplayer Online mean a player must conform to ONE group of people and follow their ideologies?

I'm pretty sure that there are all kinds of people in MMO's, like myself, who enjoy interacting with others but like to play as more of a "Ronin" or small crew of 2-3 people.

MMO does not translate into GUILD-WARS. If it did, I would be playing THAT game.

You are a fool.

And to Xicot, I do solo them (sometimes I just cant tbh). But sometimes I want the team interaction of 2 or more passers by who happen to want the same thing and help each other out for a spell, then part ways.

I am so sick and tired of this game.

It is wearing very thin and very quickly.

I get into the SAME rut every hour or so.

Run to one little town/outpost. Do the kill/collection quests (btw ALWAYS the same thing..pretty much.)
Then you need to go see the next guy at the next outpost(again, always the same thing...)
THEN...
Then you get the good old BAM quest.
YAY!
Except there are about a hundred monsters just hanging about like somebody littered the ground with monster dust, and there is not a single person who is around to quest with.
Ever.

Nobody is playing and I am constantly having to wait around hoping for somebody to show up and be on the quest, or re-try over and over to take on these quests solo. (And some are pretty hard)
Some suggested I join a guild, but why should I HAVE to resort to that?
I don't like being chained down to a guild, but I do enjoy partying up with fellow adventurers.

Only problem here is there are never any to be found.
And I am on a pretty populated PvP server (apparently)

I shouldn't HAVE to be part of a guild.
I ask for help in area chat and I think 2 times all game have I even been met with a response and I do believe one of them was a rather abrupt; "Shut-up noob"

*Sigh*.

I just started (Lvl24 archer)
And quite honestly, most of the time in game, I feel pretty alone.

Which sucks because I can never get people who are even willing to quest up with me.
(Everyone is already grouped or too busy or I never even see people)

End of the day, I highly enjoy PvP and can be quite good at it after practicing, and am more than willing to join a guild that isn't full of complete d!ck-h0les.

I am also willing to participate in PvE.

I am an Australian (if the timezone matters) And I DO work and have a family to tend to, so if there are strict time slots required for me to play, well bad luck.

Anyhow..I'm off to fetch myself another pear cider....

Peace

(btw I hope it made sense, by now I am pretty smashed)

Did the first area.
All fine. Although I RARELY saw anyone...which took away the feeling I first had when I played earlier mmo's where even the beginning areas were full of people making friends and connections etc.

Came to Velika (or whatever its called). And started the first Lumbertown quests.
Again, saw nobody whilst questing.

Now I decided to go quest somewhere else. >>>>>Ganked.
....I take forever healing up to go quest again>>>>>>>>Ganked.

Okok, I DO play on a PvP server, I accept that. But it' ridiculous that I cant even quest now for 2 minutes without getting smashed.

And I do play the game alone, I don't have any friends that were willing to start with me, and everyone I meet ingame is already a higher lvl (im lvl16) and have no interest in assisting. Nor do I feel as though I should put somebody ELSE out by relying on them for help.

The mere fact that this game is new'ish, and I already spent my first 16 lvls seeing a FEW players makes me feel like it's not going too well...
And when I finally meet someone...It's usually a pair or trio out to kill me.

Well, I decided to transfer to JC. I think i'd like a LITTLE more communication in game even prior to lvl 60

Thanks for the input, and I think I will Play on JC at least till 60, then decide where to go.
Just started and am lvl12.
Barely see anyone in-game. Always feel pretty alone.
Wondering If it is worth Transferring to Jagged Coast server?

(I am also playing from Australia, so on an unrelated note, are there many or some Aussie guilds on Jagged Coast?)
