Really, though. Who here really gives a [filtered] about the next guy?
You rolled DPS, deal with it.
Tons of douche bags who play this game. The Lancer problem is only 1 of many imbalances that people take advantage of. And, since the response, to almost every good argument can almost certainly reduced to "deal with it", well, deal with it.
You QQ that I can one shot you with my 60 while you are your friends quest? Deal with it.
You QQ that you queue'd for a tank and I left? Deal with it.
You QQ that there is no true penalty for infamy? Deal with it.
It sucks, but seriously, the players are only taking advantage of game imbalances.
It will be be very obvious how many f**ks people give when their subs drop through the floor.
Yes. But that's then. This is now. And you can choose what you want to do. Which will be to either wait and play another game, or continue playing. So really, why are we still talking about this?
You Derp me, but you have no idea how much money goes into developing an MMO. Game sales arne't where profits come from, it's lasting subscriptions. Economy? No...
Seriously. can someone name me an MMO that was "finished" at launch?
Finished? MMOs are never "finished"
If any of you played Rift when it was released you would know there were two tiers of 5 man dungeons and a 20-man raid (Which were no where NEAR easy) released along with launch. The game also had Battleground, (11-50) tiered PVP rewards for leveling AND level capped PVP rewards. Reputations along with rewards.
This was Trion's first MMO that they didn't piggy back off of Koreans. What's En Masse's excuse?
Darkwulf walks into a gaming store and sees Tera online. Darkwulf reads about Tera and says wow that pvp system sounds crakin. I will drop sixty bucks on this game for that.
Prolixitasty walks in to the same store and stands next to Darkwulf, also picking up a copy of Tera. Prolixitasty says, this game looks pretty cool and I am going to play on a pvp server. But I really dont like the rules so after I buy it I think I will call EME and see if they can change the rules for me.
Darkwulf looks at Prolixitaty and says, wtf dude. Why not play on a PVE server for fair and equal pvp or GVG when they add it in. Or go grab another game that fits your pvp preference.
Proxilitasty buys they game anyways and leaves thinking he is more important than most people and surely EME will change the game if he sees fit.
It comes down to Prox's self - identification crisis. He feels he needs to be self labled as playing on a PvP server, because that is the strongest ruleset, therfore that is where the strongest players will be.
He refuses to put himself in with a group of players that HE PERCEIVES as weaker - playing on a PvE server.
Grow up Prox.
People on a PvE server are not weaker. In fact - a lot of them are better than players on PvP servers. They just don't want to have to deal with the exact stuff you are complaining about. Go play with them.
