My question is what is the point of Vanarchy? The way I see it, there's really no incentive for guilds to run if all they can do is change taxes and grind quests to keep shops open. No wonder nobody runs

Basically this. I'm in a guild where the guild leader really cares about Vanarchy (Nagafen on BC, Oloh is the one who took out an ad on Teratome). For the guild members, Vanarchy means we get to grind out world bosses who have really long spawn times. That means lucking into them if they happen to be up. Super fun! And we get a slightly faster mount.

There just doesn't seem to be any reward to winning a Vanarchy. It's more work to maintain than you get in rewards.
This is what happens when a company chooses to focus on other less important things (cash shop items, meeting stones, etc). It forces them to make a hard choice that they wouldn't have had to make at all if they allocated their resources to what their customers wanted (or even better, no resources [or, rather, a net positive amount of resources since they wouldn't have had to change it either] had they just left the system as it was).

But now they're going to make a group of customers upset regardless of what they do.

Outside of their questionable choices with changes to the game, their business decisions seem to be somewhat suspect as well. It leaves me dubious about the future of TERA under EME.
I don't really have anything to add, but I played Everquest for about 3 years and I never had a max level character. Even though I wasn't max level I was still able to participate in end game content (PoF, PoH, NToV). There is definitely a lot of "rose colored glasses" when looking back at EQ. But that said, I spent WAY more time playing it than anything since, and I continued to play it longer than any other MMO.
Can anyone confirm that the warrior changes are actually still going live? I swear I read that they put it to test and it broke too much so they went back to the drawing board.

Ktera has been out a year ahead. What happens there, may not affect us anytime soon.

Except that at the moment TERA is developed by Bluehole. If the game continues to do poorly there it means they may stop or slow down the development of new content. That means we also get stopped or slowed down content. It's possible that EME ends up buying out of whatever deal they have with Bluehole and begin to develop their own content, but at the moment the games are tied at the hip.

Poor performance in KTera has a very real impact on the game we play.
Actually, the enchanting achievement is mislabeled and doesn't require it to all be the same weapon. I got it accidently by enchanting stuff for alts. I don't remember if it was over 2 items or 3, but you just need to get 9 successful enchants.
The point is that you can do it on the move. As in, not having to port back to a city.

Pretty handy for multiple roles or if you're switching to/from PVP.

Is the fact that this is no longer stickied a sign that you're adding more Nexus times?

If not, seems kind of rude to unsticky a post with useful information.
With 30% reflect, I'm pretty much a 1v1 god as a priest.

And warrior? Really? That's the one class as a priest I could always win against.

1) Run the same dungeons a billion times

1) same in every MMO, repeat the dungeons/raids/events.

The thing is, there are only 2 dungeons in this game to run a billion times. Please don't even mention the fact that normal and hard are "technically" different. If every dungeon in the game were replaced with FoK, but different difficulty levels, would that be more content? I think you'd agree that it's not.
