PyroCar's Post History

Playing against -1.6s stun duration cloth users, I found it a LOT more efficient to autoattack them to death than to try to stun them. At least, the knockdowns I proc with normal attacks seems to disrupt them a little.

I'm fine with giving healer a self-protect ability that doesn't break group PvP. I can tell you from firsthand experience, group pvp with proper heal support last far longer than it should, putting an additional strain on healers on both side is fine by me, although it could be lowered to like 15% total.

Well, get ready for longer PvP once the QoA part 2 with the nerfed stuns and increased damage mitigation for nearly all classes is live XD

If you own healer can't deal with a 12k reflect, then your healer is bad.

Remember, both sides can have reflect, it just makes it so that both sides' healer must work a little harder, reflect dmg taken from a single target is easily healable.

AoE on the other hand is not.

My guildie sorc nearly one shotted himself off a fireblast crit on 4 targets, which he simply did his job and nuked morons who stood still, but he was the one punished for it. That's dumb.

Tss tss. You miss the point. As your healer in the next PvP if he'll be happy having to heal 12k damage each time someone on the other team gets healed on top of all the damage he has to handle already.

12k is a lot when it just happens with no real effort. It adds up quickly and you'd be a fool not to include it in your group build since nothing else comes close to it in effectiveness. I'm mainly saying that although the self kill Fireblast factor for sorcs is a very strong argument as to why reflect is bad, even if something this part is "fixed" somehow, there's still the basic issue that 30% reflect is nearly the same as giving every healer in the game a passive that says "inflicts 30% of all the HP you healed in damages to the nearest DPS"

All those comments made for 1v1 is kinda dumb, and not why this stat is broken. Yes, the stat is imbalanced on a healer or lancer in 1v1, but that's not what this game is balanced, or should be balanced for. The game is balanced for endgame group pvp, and it is there where this stat completely screwed with the system.

Actually, the stat isn't imbalanced on a healer. It's imbalanced when a healer is around (Lancer works as a self heal only healer here).

Look at it like that. A ok Priest with not too shaby endgame gear can throw 40k HP heals around or like 30k HP self heals. A 40k HP heal put on a player with 30% reflect damage is the exact same as if the priest did 12k damage to someone else. Reflect damage is very strong because it works extremely well with heals, transforming what is already a VERY strong element in the game into something that also does very good damage practically for free, for no effort and no skill.

Are you going for BGs without a healer?

every other thread is a complaint, and quite frankly, it's just plain childish. there has been very little to no discussion about relevant topics in game since launch, it's been nothing but a deluge of complaints over every little thing that can pop into this so very entitled, unable to be pleased tiny community.

you drive people away with your bad attitudes, and demands that everything has to conform to your will. the game is 2 months old, fairly polished, and fairly decent for a launch. yet, anyone who remotely defends the game is "just another eme fanboy" who recieves a barrage of insults, seriously, this community needs to grow up.

Game is one year old, it's blatantly unpolished, content from 1-58 was slaughtered in the westernisation leaving us with 2-3 tiny instances (in different difficulties to make it feel more recycled) as only endgame content and the game reeks of stupid decisions all other the place, where the culminating factor is the 30% reflect gear in PvP.

1. just because enchanting doesnt instantly succeed in your favor, doesn't mean it's broken. there is no need to sit here and cry about RNG this, too expensive that. refined gear is a luxury, not a privilage.

Enchanting stuff is not a luxury, it's a requirement if you want to run the harder instances. Although harder is a bad word because they are only a tiny little bit harder than normal mode and very much more a DPS check too. But then again, when you spend 90% of your budget making content for level 1-59 that can is finished in 3-4 days, you gotta find something to keep your players sticking around with only tiny little bit of repetitive and rather easy content.

2. just because (insert event) doesnt conform to your schedule, does not mean it is broken. they're scheduled to get the most people in at the best time possible. who cares if you miss it due to work? theyre not required to play.

It becomes a little problem once it's required to participate in those events for some reason or another, like to get stuff but anyway, some events also have a good reason for such time slot format either like the Nexus.

3. no one cares if you dont like the cash shop, fact is, people will pay lots to stand out. and that's all it is, vanity. you are not barred from content, nor are you entitled to perks and vanity just because you bought a game/pay a sub. it's the same for xbox live, you almost never get after development DLC for free.

and i could go on forever and ever about what people consider issues (99% of the time, them being petty, and insignificant.)

this is general discussion, not the two mile long soap box wher everyone has to step up and make a new daily complaint about the same topics that arent even broken.

you sit here and claim the game will fail, but little do you know, all you do by making illogical complaints is make it a self fufilling prophecy.

When people got a LOT of petty and insignificant issues, and I mean a lot, like in Tera, it's a clear sign that the product is not fairly polished as you say but rather the other way.
Mystic lockon heal (well, the only real heal they got) does less on initial cast but leaves a nice HoT behind which if I'm not mistaken heals a little more in the long run. It has a cast time though which the Priest lockon doesn't include.
Is there even the need for more MP like the Mystic provides when everyone is running around with Greater Infused Charms anyway?
Are you trying to get as many fireballs as possible before you get her hit or something? Judging from your remark about their timeout duration :p Maybe this is the problem : taking too long between getting some fireballs to hit her.
Why are you making it so hard? Just equip the best combat move speed crystal available on the player that will run the balls and get them all to hit her. It's rather easy to kill her before she casts the meteor even in hard mode if you don't do weird stuff like trying to glitch some balls or something. As long as you got enough combat speed, you should be faster than the fireballs or at least the same speed and then just do it carefully.
Wait, do tank warriors REALLY need to use BC to hold aggro? XD Let's not even talk about the LFD aggro generation buff here.

Give all the edge to the DPS warrior. The run will only go faster if he can spam 10 edge scythes as much as possible. You as tank warrior should spam ToB more often and socket some threat crystals. And use the defensive posture. Keep BC as a stun/interrupt like when Kaprima goes flying for an attack. If the boss runs away from you, use backstab or the charge to get back to it. The charge attack itself does some nice aggro it seems.
