Ravynmagi's Post History

I don't understand the negativity towards people that reached level 60, like they are all playing too fast and it's their fault the lower levels are empty. The game hasn't been out a week, it's been a few months now. I think what has happened is natural and expected.

I'm actually only level 43 and have been playing extremely casually since launch. I have no complaints that everyone passed me by. They went at their pace, I'm moving at my pace. I see no problems.

My account was expired and I got "subscription not found" earlier. I just tried my account again and was able to get it. So looking good now for me (still need to get refunded for the mischarge, but that'll probably take a few days).

Found a solution to workaround the awful CS here and getting acconuts working.

Have been on hold for over 2+ hours, been in live chat for 5+ hours a time only to get NO AGENT AVAILIBLE BS

So i by accident found solution myself

NOTE this is NOT exploiting anything just a stupid linking system on the Tera site

Step 1. LOGOUT of account, will not work if logged in.
Step 2. go to http://store.enmasse.com/store/tera/en_US/html/pbPage.Subscription_Page/teraID.MTYxMTE4Nw__?resid=T59-3QoHArEAAAPHr8UAAAAL&rests=1336073133009
Step 3. Select sub plan even if you already have (this does not charge card, proof is on my account its still saying free trial and renewal on june 2nd)
Step 4. click proceed or buy, whatever you then wll be asked to login in.
Step 4 log in in link given.
Step 5 Checkout.
Step 6 Play

Considering their billing system doesn't sound like it's too reliable in the first place, I'd be worried of getting double charged for a subscription by doing it that way.
Not sure I should reply to this. I don't want to give the impression I'm siding with someone that refers to themselves in the third person. But I think the prologue may give some a very poor impression of the game, it sure did for me.

What I didn't like is the compass didn't seem to work and the minimap doesn't show some of the quest objectives. And the quest tracker also doesn't seem to update much. I found myself wandering around lost for a while. And then I was never able to even complete the prologue because it either got bugged or I was suppose to do something I could not figure out. I was standing next to an NPC telling me I have to find the expedition members. There was a pile of rocks in the path and the expedition members on the other side. But I could never get past that point. Had to logoff and back on and skip it.

Seems like the tutorial quest should update a bit better and guide new players to their points a bit better.

That said though. I'm sure not going to quit a game I just spent $60 on that quickly.

I didn't get much time to play the game after skipping the prologue (I wasted a lot of time in that, haha), but I got the impression the game looked a lot better from my brief time outside the prologue. So it seemed like a mistake for me to do the prologue.

It's good that it's optional, but I think it's probably doing more harm than good. The stuff I learned in there I could easily learn without it as well.
This happened to me as well. I just bought the game yesterday, an impulse buy since I never played beta or knew anything about the game. And I just noticed this morning I was charged a 90 day subscription fee.

I was not expecting this to happen for at least a month, I thought I'd have a bit of time to see if I really liked the game and a chance to cancel that in case I didn't. I'll contact customer service later today regarding this as well.
Thanks. I logged off and back on and was able to skip the Prologue.

Yeah, I'm not sure that Prologue is such a good idea. Even before the part I got stuck, it really didn't give me a good impression of the game. Kinda had me worried I just wasted $60. But after getting out of that and starting the real game, I'm starting to feel better about it.

I'm replying to this because I seem to be stuck in the very same spot. Standing next to Elleon with a pile of rocks infront of me. The rocks are highlightable, but I can't seem to do anything with them. I can't get around them. If I talk to Elleon he tells me we need to find the expedition members, which are clearly visible on the other side of these rocks, but no way around.

I've killed all the mobs I can find in the area.

I also can't page a GM to assistance, the "contact support" button does nothing when I click on it (lunch break?).
