Reichu's Post History

Hey folks.. I've been with tera since CBT and always could find -someone- to RP with, but as of late it feels like there's nothing but couple/pairing rp, erp and guild rp,(or very... very.. bad. ) which is leaving it very hard to participate.
I don't want to join a guild, I dislike the idea of rping to someone else's storyline, makes me feel forced with how I write.

Help? What do I do? I mean I play the game solo anyway, but if I can't find RP then I don't know if I want to keep playing?

I used to get a lot of walkup, but atm it seems as if even that's void, and if -I- walk up people have gotten annoyed by me because I 'interrupted'. Or if it works, it's another month before I can find another open rper.
Is it the way I write? The fact that I won't erp? I'm confused. /:
Same as WoW RP really, no different other than it's more difficult to find and there's fewer males, as Sleigh said.

Oh, and there's no walk feature, so it's harder to find RPers.

I don't think it's a high expectation. Every single image, screenshot, video, and just about anything with the game images, shows revealing armor - I know there's usually 'sexy women' in advertising, but if it's even in the screenshots and the trailers, it's in the game.

I guess people could get the game without looking at them, I just find it a little odd people were shocked by it when it's literally everywhere that you can see an ingame image/video.

I do admit I regret choosing a female Castanic plate wearer, and every day wish I'd made her a caster. (The caster armor is much nicer looking...), but alas..

Imo it'd be nice if we were able to have templates from other armor classes, then everyone would be happy and could pick what they want. e x e;
;D Haha, probably 6 of my characters are Cast males. Love them horned boys.

I'm glad you like the game, we def need more people. And def need more male character players. So many ladies running around.
Last I looked at Guild Wars 2 (I didn';t play it for more than a few minutes, but not the point), the armors in that seem really covering for the most part, so it's not 'every/all games'.

I don't mind the suggestion, I just hope EME never takes the action of censorship again, because god forbid they should try and give every female an underarmor paintfill jumpsuit.

Unfortunately all armors in the game come from the original game creators, without their models or permission, they can't do anything. Elsewise we'd have a lot more things by now. . - .
I'll say it every time: You saw the game images before you played. You saw the armors and the 'scantily clad' ladies in the screenshots, artwork, and probably even in the launcher.

Fact is: That's how the game is and how it looks. I like the armors, they're well designed and look good, god knows I'd hate for them to kill the armors the same way they killed some of them with a censor. [filtered]tily done paint bucket fills onto the body..

Frankly, if you want non-revealing armor, find the most covering, and use it as a template. Or buy a costume that covers you.
Best solution you'll get, unless they release more costumes.
. - . Like I said, I'd gladly PAY them to give it back. I'd happily pay up to 50$ to have it a permanent feature on my account.

Maybe they can do that - offer founders to pay for it.

Hey everyone. We weren't aware of the Founder's chat icons disappearing until today. I wasn't even aware of this thread until today. I'm looking into what happened to them and let you all know when I found out.

If it matters, personally I thought they were public chat fight fodder and nothing more, and I'd like to see them permanently removed anyway. And I say this as a closed beta 2+ founder with a sub that still doesn't renew until July. :)

It's....segregation. I don't care where somebody is from *if they speak English, even halfway know what they're doing and make even the most modest effort at politeness.* If they don't, that's when you /ignore and avoid, not because of some public stigma that says nothing about what the player is really like in the chat.

Sorry I read your post a few times and still find it a bit hard to comprehend.

So you are stating that the icon promotes "Burrito" and "hue hue" talks? (or elinware or blah blah)

Cause if that so I just had a peek into global and pretty much the same racism, f and c words flying around. And now it's worse cause you cannot differentiate supporters how have invested in the game along the road from those who just downloaded the game to bash it...

Lmao. Applaud this guy someone. The founder icon separates the people with non founder icons. They don't communicate with them, maybe on global if they're acting stupid. When it comes to talking to them in-game, toon to toon, there's no communication what so ever because founder's think they're BRs. And everyone's been cussing, the GMs aren't around to see some of that. And if you cannot "differentiate supporters" then, that's just sad. It's obvious who's supporting or not. *hint hint* Founder's title, founder's mount. Everyone in-game supports by playing in general.

F2P and P2P(founders) talk and play together quite frequently in my experience, although I am on CH. /: It's only the time when they're new players and act stupid that people avoid them like the plague. But now everyone's assuming everyone's a bad player, for some reason.

I agree, the 'HUEHUE/BRBR' seems to be still there, only worse, because now everyone's a 'BR' player or newbie or what have you if you happen to be on a lower level character. Or just happen to say something that may come off as a new player. /:
It's not segregation. Is having specific item glows segregation? Is affording item templates segregation? How about purchasing 'token' items from the store like glasses/head wings? Those are essentially all the same thing. 'Icons of status/decoration'. I was told I was getting an icon next to my name for being a P2Per when it went F2P, removing it is essentially taking away all of the above because 'Well we know you paid for it in the past but people who couldnt afford the accessories feel excluded'.
It was there
It was already in the game
Don't go in and take it out, if that's what they did. Giving someone a puppy and then taking it away because the neighbors can't harbor a dog and feel bad about it is dumb.

If it feels too 'large' for the chat, make it a few pixels smaller. Problem resolved.
