Rocnar's Post History

I'm sure I'm not the only TERA player who would love to have the ability to change out skill effects for bigger, better, more impressive skill effects! What better way to do this than to offer it through the store?

When I play sorcerer, I am left feeling like the spells are just uninspired. Some look decent, while others are just plain boring. For instance: Fireball. Fireball looks like a small burning ball of pitch. It's one of the several unimpressive skills available to the sorcerer. I would be willing to drop $5-$10 to permanently change the fireball spell effect into something that looks more impressive.

Hopefully this is something that could be implemented.
Well I've played with quite a few people over the course of the last month. None of them were the type to regroup, or continue on in a group once the main object was complete. I'm looking to join a group of like-minded people, that may have already created their own community. I'm not having much luck with just randomly being LFG in-game on my server. Which is why I came here, where the entire pool of Tera players can be found.
I have a 35 Lancer, and a few lower level classes. I love the design of the game, but I am quickly losing interest since I play MMOs for the multiplayer aspect. Unfortunately, everyone solos to max level. I'm looking for a group of players/guild on a PVE server that play in non end-game groups on a daily basis. Questing groups, farming groups, exploration groups, dungeon groups, leveling groups, groups to help out lower levels - you name it, I'm interested. PM me or reply here. I'm on Dragonfall, but I am willing to transfer servers.
This is where the LFG channel comes in handy. Post your LFG message in the /LFG for your main, while you're playing your alt.
Playing Lancer solo is definitely a bit annoying, but then again, playing solo as any class in an MMO is annoying. I don't know about you, but I would rather be playing in a group. It's unfortunate that the game allows solo leveling, because everyone will take the path of least resistance and do just that.
Any "MMO" that enables players to solo to max level, in my opinion, is "like WoW". I can't wait until the mainstream interest in MMOs dies down, so that developers can get back to basics, and start making group-oriented MMOs again.
They put this crap in Lineage II and Aion. It's only a matter of time before we see it here. The Berserker weapon looks just like the lame Chrono Darbuka in L2.

This is why end game should start at level 10. You get the first 10 levels to learn the basics of the game/your class, and then it's all group-only content past level 10.

Oddly enough that actually sounds like it might be super fun...
It was fun. Probably the most fun I will ever have in an MMO. Before WoW ruined the MMO genre, all MMOs had group-only leveling. I played FFXI for years and skirted the actual end-game (which sucked) because there was so much more to do that was group-oriented - leveling, story missions, BCNMs, hunting HNMs, skill-up parties, exploring, farming scrolls to learn new spells. If the graphics weren't so dated, and if I hadn't already played it for so long, I'd go back and play it lol.

I play a lancer, and I don't kick Berserkers. I couldn't care less about gear. I care more about playing with fun people. I was even in a group yesterday with two Berserkers, none of which I asked to be kicked. It is my hope that I will become so loved by Berserkers that they will seek me out for everything. So as soon as I log in, I'll see lots of whispers from all the Berserkers out there, asking me to come play with them.
