Hey all - Ryukin ( Now Akechi) here. A group of us left Lights Hope yesterday and typically, you wouldn't need to know or care about that! But there were a few rumors going around about some of us and why we split of. So for the sake of posterity, I'm going to just openly say the over arcing reason why we left.

We weren't particularly impressed with the way the guild was run internally or for that matter, the direction it was headed in. So instead of stewing over it, we decided to simply leave and make our own guild so we could try things out our way, with our own ideas. None of this was particularly that dramatic in reasoning, whatever anyone's rumors may be. We aren't even claiming LH is a bad guild, just not interested in its way of doing things in relation to how we play. Pretty simple really, let's not over complicate people's reasons with conspiracy theories and mudslinging. Thanks for hearing us out. :)

Eh - I've chosen to avoid the app game. Not to condemn it, going around trying out guilds is fine, but I'm more interested in letting a guild approach me based on interest on how I am or me finding a great guild through some kind of interaction that makes me appreciate their various traits. I think in truth, it's beneficial to both parties that way. But yeah - I know of the list, thanks :)

Hey, I'm Ryukin. I'm recently free lance after having left my last guild. (They didn't do anything wrong, just wasn't a good fit for me.). Instead of going around posting my app on a random popular guild, I thought it might be better to explain what I WANT and skip the whole guild hopping process.

Firstly about myself OCC wise:
-I'm an experienced raider across multiple MMOs.
-I'm also an experience pvper across multiple MMOs.
-I've played way too many games and I can potentially bombard a conversation with useless video game knowledge that I randomly remember. Beware!
-Typically - 4 or 5 days of the week - I'll be working 3-11 pm shifts. So I'm morning and late night active.
-On the note of activity in general, despite working a good bit, I'm very active.
-Active guilds are a requirement for me - and being close knit is a major factor for me too.

Now RP is another requirement for me. I didn't pick this server to not rp, so sorry light rp guilds. Moderate RP is where I've been comfortable - Hardcore RP is something I might need to get better at, but I'm willing to go to that level. On the note of RP - I want to give some very basic info on my character to help further decide if my not only myself but, the persona I will play- will fit in.

Character name - Ryukin Almara(Currently level 49 and rising fast)

Gender - Male

Age-28 (Not irl age.)

Class - Slayer

Current profession - Ryukin is currently focused on Federation related endeavors. Everything from guarding Debates (LOLZ) to taking on the most dangerous missions available. In that case you might consider him a loosely supervised soldier to the federation currently unaffiliated with any one unit or organization but willing to accept whatever tasks the Federation needs handled.

Motives/Affiliation- Ryukin can be morally grey based on the idea of "duty". Ryukin basically takes his orders seriously and more often than not - carries them out without question. There is a reasoning for this mentality and a dark part of his history that causes him to feel obligated to carry out his duty almost religiously. For him - doing his duty is a matter of repayment. And that's all you get, the rest is revealable only through rp - sorry!

Personality - He tends to remain stoic and to the point about things. He takes his missions seriously and has no problem fulfilling the objectives with whatever means he's been authorized to use. To some - he's the right kind of soldier. However on rare occasion - Ryukin can reveal his opinions and proves he actually is quite aware of the state of things - and not so oblivious to the things he is doing or apart of. His surprising intelligence can often draw contradictions to the perception of him being the loyal unquestioning sword. Typically, Ryukin refrains from humor or casual situations - although he can sometimes be found enjoying a good tavern - typically alone.

History - Most of his history is under wraps for RP sake! Also, it's very concise to also allow for sort of the recounting of detailed events that took place within his history.

He was born to a famliy of craftsmen who died during a project within Velika. Having never known any relatives outside of his respective parents - he lived on the street for a short time learning to survive. However, after showing some combat prowess - he was brought into an academy and was educated thoroughly on combat tactics and combat training. After coming of age, he joined the military as an officer and recieved his own unit. From there - Ryukin had an early successful career....until a series of events took place that changed everything.

I'm not sure what you said there - but I think I understood an archer was tanking? Now - I'm gonna go on a limb and say that's usually not a good thing.

Hey Ryukin here, I'll set the record straight before anyone rages too far.

Originally - the event pretty much came out of nowhere. Even within our guild, most of us didn't know it was coming. It was spur of the moment and my understanding was that GM Ryusaikou actually got all the candidates on board via advertising around the day of. Then to attract more - he also advertised to letting others represent their guilds if GMs couldn't make it. Mostly - notification was that day for most who attended. I'm pretty sure this was planned either on the 24th or the 25th. I'm fairly certain he didn't know they were doing it until the last minute. Either way, it wasn't a political conspiracy or some nefarious plan to steal votes- I can vouch for that. Also - having left that guild, I hope that provides a bit of legitmacy to my post.

On a lighter note - it was an awesome event and I hope to rp with you all again in the future!!! Everyone did a great job! Celestial Hills RP guilds ftw!
