1. When did you first hear about TERA?

Late 2010 I think..

2. If before original release, did you follow the game through forums/news/fansite?

I signed up for closed beta and followed the forums and posted regularly, but never got an invite :( I started playing in OB1.

3. How many days do all your characters combined have racked up (If you don't know how to check this, go to options -> UI -> show FPS, and put your mouse over your FPS. It should be for the single character).

I can't log in to check, but I know that my 3rd main (that I've played the least) is on 21 days, so I'd guess over a 100 between OB and all alts.

4. Did you take any long breaks after release?

I took a month off before F2P

Actually, most people would just like a mount that they can buy for 1 character for $15 - $20. Like with Boneshaker. Most people don't like RNG or having to pay more than once for a mount, or being forced to pay $40 and buy it for multiple characters. It's really not a hard concept to grasp.
From what I understand the drop rate on vitriols is about 1/ 1,000.

But, yes, those BAMs do drop them.

That sucks to hear that healers got the short end of the stick.

However, do remember you are not forced to queue into these equalized BGs which give you gimped healing. You can choose to stay with the gear you have acquired and are more comfortable in :)


While that's true, I do love the idea of EBG and would like to be able to enjoy it as much as the DPS are enjoying it :)

So much this. I have 2 mains, Mystic and Priest. Ran a EBG with my mystic earlier and was the only healer on my team. I got flamed to hell and back because I couldn't heal them while being stunlocked (and dead) in 3 or 4 seconds.

If they keep this, they need to fix healer stats to make them viable or make it so that you need a minimum number of healers in a BG, because as it stands I won't be doing any more on either healer (which sucks as BGs are the content I do most atm).

This entire time Im keeping them up through everything, theres jelly and worms everywhere and im just rofl while they try to finish this. Boss finally dies mind you no one dies b/c well im awesome. Then after all that of course what happens I get kicked before loot roll.


How can you be kicked after a boss and before loot roll? You have to wait 120 seconds after combat to kick someone?

So I would assume, you're using either 512GB+ SSD or an ancient HDD. If it's the latter, maybe you should join this century?


Actually, most people use an SSD for their OS and a few programs that benefit from it, so I have windows and Tera on my SSD and that is all.

I have fast HDDs as well as the SSD for space - as no one could possibly run a PC and only have 250GB on it these days and there is not much point in having most programs on an SSD.

They changed the event with lots of time to spare and they announced it here and on Reddit.

I like the change as I was able to continue levelling my new character instead of starting another one of the same class that I wanted to have a 60 of.
I can confirm that TR was as bad as Dea said last night. I normally do Nexus at 3pm during the week, but missed it yesterday so went in the evening.

I had the same problems: stuck for minutes on end, not being able to use my skittles, healing someone then seeing them die 30 seconds later, my fairy not healing me or spawning even though it was on CD, teleporting to exactly where I was already, seeing people zoom past me or stuck with me for ages, bosses not despawning for ages after we have the rewards and people not getting their NT stacks - or getting one and the second one taking up to 5 nexus spawns to stick. Took us almost 50 minutes to do ZF as no one could do anything most of the time.
