Sorry if this is in the Wrong section i didn't really see a support thread.
So i was experimenting to try and find a good profile so that i can override the fake and crappy looking FXAA and still have 60FPS average. I found tons of posts for Nvidia users and well today i bring you something that will help AMD users if this is already known im sorry
first of all specs:
I7 960 @ 4.2GHZ
2 AMD 6950s minor OC
1. Open up CCC and make sure you set an application profile for TERA.exe (not the launcher the actual .EXE for the game) found in "cache/Tera/Client/Binaries"
2. set Anti aliasing to override
3. set desired AA, x2,x2EQ,x4 ETC ETC. (i can run at x4EQAA at 60 fps almost everywhere using this guide)
3.1. set AA type Multisampling is the least demanding while Supersampling is the most set this according to your GPUs ability. i have mine set at Supersampling.
4. make sure morphological filtering is off cause its basically just a crappier FXAA that CCC imposes over everything including ingame menus.
5.set everything else as desired ( i use application settings for all of these) Vysnc off unless application specifies
6.Crossfire X mode here is the main setting. using default i get like 35 ish FPS
using "optimize 1x1" i get roughly 45 FPS
but if i use AMD pre defined profile and select" fear.exe FEAR" i gain roughly 20-25 FPS putting me above 60FPS with no visual Defects
BTW make sure you set lighting enrichment to 1 ingame otherwise you are applying your forced AA overtop of the games FXAA which just make it look bad and take more FPS.
