While I doubt this thread will see a official response I was wondering if anyone knew of upcomming weapon skins. I know it takes a lot of work to model and texture new items but I was kinda figuring that since the game has gone F2P we would see an increase in items from the EMP market. I know there have been a lot of cosmetic armor types but I hoping to see some new weapons.
I will say this, as a female aman lancer, I got my first piece of armor that actually covered my character's stomach and boobs in my early 40s.
Its a shame they are so fat and have enormously long arms, since it really detracts from their overall appearance while having excellent armor models.
I have been told(but not experienced myself, so this is at best hearsay), that

Basically, a perfectly played warrior takes near zero damage while offering better dps and group utility, but if a screwup happens the warrior is punished a lot worse than a lancer.
I don't really see the big deal. The duration listed is in play time not total time, so the ones that last 7 days will last for a 168 hours of gameplay.
Short answer is no.

Long answer is healers and tanks are pretty even in terms of rarity, but DPS are always more common. I have been playing MMOs for 10 years now(rather sad to think about that), starting with DAoC, and I have yet to play one where tanks were even close to dps in terms of population. This game is no different, in CB1 and CB2 as a lancer I basically had choice of groups and I would see DPS spam lfg for quite awhile unsuccessfully.
You can buy bandages from the merchants.
With my experience with the lancer in CB1 including duels and group duels.

1vs1 lancers are very good, at 22 I had a lot of trouble with Slayers and Sorcerers but was good against everyone else. Slayers would just dodge and get in an attack behind me before I could turn around and shield. Sorcerers would peck me to death while I could do nothing to them, when my charge would be available, they could use their blink dodge to get away. I imagine this will change a lot at 26 with leash, but at 22 I couldn't do anything.


Group duels things change quite a bit. We don't have good area damage, and we can't block from multiple angles so charging into groups was both pointless and suicidal; but staying back and protecting your ranged worked pretty well. Using stuns and blocks to keep damage off our own casters was pretty fun, it felt like what being a tank in PvP should be.

To address some of the other things said in this thread.
By defaul combo attack is LMB and block is RMB, but you can change them to whatever. Our shield blocks up to the damage listed on an attack. So if your lance/shield will block for 2000 damage, and you take a hit that would be 2500 damage, you will instead take 500 damage. If you have that same weapon and take 10 hits for 1950 damage your shield will still hold but you will lose mana on every attack.
Not terribly game breaking due to the odd circomstances, but if you have a scroll wheel on your mouse that you can have on free spin(no clicking, no resistance), and let it spin quickly in the chat window it will cause the game to lock up until it finishes spinning.
Its a measure to prevent cheesing an instance to kill the first boss over and over.

If you clear the instance there is no lock out, if you enter an instance, don't finish it, then leave and have it reset(or have it reset while you are inside and thus teleported out) you get a half hour lock out.
