I totally agree. It's stated that we get to reserve the name if we preorder it and they even gave a specific date juz to do that. and of cos we will wan to keep that name. It is suppose to be in the whole package. (Seriously that is one of the reason y i got the pre-order.)
Juz like NameReservation said if u paid for 1 mth u know u will get 1 mth. We paid for the pre-order package so we expect things that comes with the package. If u buy a Xbox package set with 2 controller and 3 free games from a shop and 2 days later they knock on ur door and said they need to take the 3 games back .. u think its ok?

After 6 months it goes free to play
Do you expect to get your money back? You don't, because at that specific time when you paid for it, you got the service you paid for.
This is not Tera release, this is a server merge happening months after.
In this case, names are potentially being taken away from players who payed for the luxury of having them for their entire playtime. During the CBT's names would get erased each CBT if you did not preorder and that was specifically outlined. In this case there was no mention that names would get erased because there was no plan to do so. Therefore their product was falsely advertised.
