Mount Tyrannas (PVP)
Popori Priest
1. From the different types of pets, which would be your or your character's favorite? Why?

I would prefer the candy spinner. As a priest decidicated to supporting my group, I know morale is half the battle. And what puts you in a better mood than sweets?

2. Tell us about your TERA adventures together. How would your character have met the pet? What would the pet's personality be like?

I would have met the candy spinner in Velika, while visiting a sweets shop. The store owner had called me there to heal a toothache, having clearly been indulging in his own wares a tad too liberously. The candy spinner was there, dancing away in the front window. Being rather fond of sweets myself, and a naturally devious little popori, I added a lullaby to my healing spell and made off with the spinner while the shopowner dreamed of sugar plums and gumdrops.

Turns out the spinner is quite the little trickster himself. Rather than give out candy, he'd much rather hoard it all to himself in secret. And he's started to do it with my loot, too... I always have to be sure to double check. Luckily he's a glutton for pet treats, so I can usually keep him in line.
Everyone moves fast out of combat. Once you enter combat, your movement speed slows.

Currently archers are actually the slowest class in the game, due to one of their higher level mechanics. But they are fixing that soon(TM).
Depending on your server they might be a bit expensive, but hunter's crystals (red) will allow you to do more damage to normal monsters. It helps a lot while leveling. If that's what you're asking.
I've never had a chance to look at the stats directly, but I assume since all we really want from gloves/boots is healing bonus and movespeed respectively, the Arena gloves/boots are also best in slot for PvE? (barring VM ofc)
Oh look, a Giamonti thread. Everyone get mad and argue whilst posting really bad gifs.
Perhaps I've never been attacked by a good one, but any warrior of a similar gear level to me has been laughable ineffective. The staggering is annoying, but it's basically just like they're mercilessly tickling you.

Even warriors with considerable gear advantage I can usually escape from 1v1. My impressions is that you need some serious burst to down a priest, which warriors lack.
I'd highly recommend picking a race purely for aesthetics, as racials are quite insignificant in this game. But the visuals are amazing - you want to play something you will love to look at~
Go find an archer buddy and sit on a beach with them, wistfully staring out into the horizon.

That's what I do.

Honestly the Volley of Curses glyphs should all be considered bad picks. The damage is very poor, it can be randomly resisted (that it just doesn't work sometimes) causing you to lose stacks for no reason, needs to be cast 3 times to get full damage, and causes you to watch the timer instead of concentrating on more important things. A couple Sharan Bolts will outdamage VoC and is safer. It is never worth glyphing this spell. It's not even worth keeping on your bar past level 30 or so.

The enhanced Glyph of Lingering on Thrall of Vengeance should be upgraded to 'maybe'. For 2 points it can make the thrall semi-usable in PvP. It's just a shame you can't have it until endgame.

Volley of Curses is useful for PvP damage output, specifically in 1v1 situations. That's about it, lategame.
You may find it a bit strange, but you are capable of forming your own opinion on what looks sexiest.
