Due to some difficulties within the guild, these events are cancelled until further notice.
Looking for those interested in human history/lore for the storytelling this Friday.
Woah. I don't like being implicated that I would show favoritism to anyone.
The Lights Hope weekly storytelling is back after an off-week. It starts at 9PM EST, though we encourage people to show up earlier. There are drinks provided as well as some light refreshments. Roasting Marshmallows anyone? This event has been going on since the month the server launched and has provided an excellent platform for many aspiring authors to share their work.
What is it?
This is a chance to hear some tales written by your fellow RPers. Some contain lore, some poetry and others a bit of background about their characters. This is a chance to share some of your work as aspiring authors or enjoy the company of other fellow-minded roleplayers.
How does it work?
Every Friday at 9PM EST, Elric.of.Storms finds someone in the community to tell the first story. The first one of the Vanarchy will be a tale told of his own history as an introduction of himself to Arcadia. If there are others that show interest in sharing their tale with the community, then they will be selected up to a second and third.
Each story lasts around 1 hour, then there is a 15 minute intermission until the subsequent tale. This is a time to grab another drink, introduce yourself, etc.
During Lights Hope's reign of Vanarchy in Arcadia, every Friday Night storytelling will take place in Lumbertown with a point of interest being displayed in global channels a few hours before hand. If you have interest in telling one of these stories, then please send a whisper to Elric.of.Storms and I'll make sure you get a chance.
Thank you to all those who have supported this event so far and look forward to many great stories to come!

Just a heads up to anyone that reads this, our storytelling is moving to Lumbertown this Friday.
...Is asking for 1 copper on a silver or 1 silver on a gold even noticeable? Honestly, the default is at 5%. Anything else, the Vanarch guilds are just laughing at the tax rates and not using the system at all.
Sure thing! Just send me, Elric.of.Storms a whisper. Even if I'm busy, we can work out a time to meet up.
Last count by the master Scribe was near 60 accounts, however, lots of people frequently stop playing and pick it up again later. There is generally around 10-ish folks online in the evenings with upwards of 20. All of them are roleplayers.
There is an IC channel now, guild chat is OOC.
As for the music playing, Sherazad would be the one to ask. :3 He's the 'second' in command of sorts and just returning from some medical leave of sorts.

Sorry, thought you knew Fiora, as Orphelia told me that was the case.
As Kyan is transfering servers for PvE Opportunities, the double wedding will be cancelled. Orphelia and Fiora are also postponing their marriage.
I will not be available to host a storytelling, though I'd encourage folks to gather all the same.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes for people who had moved their schedule to attend this event.
