TBH ping wasn't really an issue - the way the animation speeds react in this game - I can play even with my ping around 200-300 playing from New Zealand.
Loving all the positive responses I'm getting - Good community here, def. not made up of all 13 year old pre-pubescent children like the WoW community.

Towliee is a terrible keyboard turning clicker player - all of his past streams are just him being a loser to people.. not worth the watch IMHO

EDIT 2:
2. i Plan to try out a ranged class in full release - Perhaps an Archer/Sorc or even a mystic.

A few questions to see how people felt.:
1. What class did you make
2. What are your first impressions about the combat
( ie; was it a bit slow, would have you preferred trying ranged/melee, were you satisfied with how it played etc)
3. Will you play the class you chose in this pre-test in the retail release version?
4. Any other comments:
I'll go first:
1. I tried a warrior - two swords
2. The initial first 5 levels felt as if the combat for the warrior was too slow, eg swings of swords felt like they were taking a split second too long to land. I was satisfied with how the aoe cleaves/swing landed and how well the combat played out. I especially liked all the blood stains XD - very asian style.
3. I play to try out a ranged class in full release - Perhaps an Archer/Sorc or even a mystic.
4. Final comments: I would def. consider playing a warrior in retail, May avoid Archers or sorcs as what I've seen there will be A HUGE number of people playing archers and sorcs. I may even play a full heal class and go priest - or try the dps/heal mix of a mystic.
Cheers.
Looking forward to reading your shared replies - will help me and possibly others make their choices.

I agree, they responded within the hour to a question I had - twice (once again to my reply within 10 mins) and even joked around with me, and offered to contact me again later "putting my name on their list of people to email again" when they get updated info about what i asked.

Restart your launcher - it fixes it.
I had this issue with P2P on about 4 times. just reset the launcher(exited it and started up again) and it worked.

the bright side is - the release is shortly after the tests..
