We would love to have you guys come join us in The Crimson Dragon, we're a very small and tight knit group of about ten players who have been together for years across different games. My girlfriend is Aussie and we play the game together while I'm over here in the states getting my visa sorted so I can go back to Australia. On the weekends most of us are on all day and night and weekdays I play late at night because of the time difference between my partner and I. My girlfriend and I have been playing and leveling together through every MMO we've come across but this is the first time I wish we weren't tied at the hip! Damn her for working the last two days of head start!! Looks like we're going to have to cap on day one and I'll be making an alt for the last two days lol
DPS might be a dime a dozen, but at 60 when you get gorilla stomped(literally)because your "damage dealers" are dragging their feet, you'll learn appreciation when someone who bothered to learn their class mechanics properly shows up.
Being one of many may mean you have to work harder for recognition but that does NOT mean you don't deserve it for doing well.

Dime a dozen on the DPS is pretty much the reason in my book why they don't receive much praise. Tanks and heals for the most part in any MMO are in high demand since the majority of players tend to gravitate towards the pew pew mindset, that's a fact. It can be argued why people overly roll DPS and everyone is entitled to play what they want and how they want, but don't expect much recognition when your just one of the plain white sheep flocking with the masses.
OT- I really don't see the term DPS fitting the nature of this games combat system, IMO Damage Dealer or DD comes to mind but that is just me I guess.

Warrior all the way! I guess my experience was more positive since I play with RL friends and family and never had to explain my "roles" to randoms. I switch off tanking with my friend who is a lancer when he sits out for another friend who is a DD, everyone enjoys the change of pace. I have no complaints about the class, I chose warrior knowing how hard pressed it would be to tank and to pull competitive damage compared to lancers and pure DD classes. I can see why the class is so popular since the whole dual wield thing is pretty awesome but it's also comforting to know MANY people will drop off the wagon due to the difficult (for many) learning curve to play the class to it's fullest potential. You will be able to clearly see who is a bad warrior, good warrior and just plain freaking awesome warrior.
I'm playing form the states atm, but my partner is playing the game in Australia. From what she tells me it's the same thing as the NA version, Elin's have booty hugging shorts instead of the little panties in the Korean version.
I been playing MMO's with my girlfriend for years and I find it hilarious how pathetic some of these guys on the net can be. She would purposely mention she was a girl in RL and toss a few smiley faces and wink emotes in chat and everyone and their grandfather would start lining up to have a chance at winning internet pimp of the year. I would actually just sit back and watch from her screen and give her ideas on what [filtered] she could say to string these poor souls along, it's quite entertaining.
Would be great if you could get one done for me as well!
