Sixnas's Post History

My CPU is an Intel Core i7 CPU/ 920 @ 2.67 GHz

Currently running TERA at max graphics with 70 fps!

However, when playing I hear my fans running more often now. Checked my GPU temperature and it sits around 81C when TERA is running. (Any idea if that's normal temperatures, or should I find a way to cool it down?)

Edit: I have my computer under a desk, there's airflow for it, just it is by a wall and the sides are covered. (My chair sits next to it, so I can usually feel the heat on my feet/legs) Should I consider moving it next to my desk instead or maybe opening the side of my computer to let air flow more?

Re-Edit: Just removed the side, moved the computer from under my desk and increased the fan speed. Now I have much more control over the temperatures!

Thanks for the information! I ended up getting an EVGA GeForce GTX 560 with an extra 55 MHz! I'll be properly installing it with a tech savvy friend tomorrow to try it out. Looking forward to the upgrade!
Hey there everyone! I recently decided that it is about time I upgraded my GPU. I currently have an Nvidia Geforce GT 220
With this I run TERA on lowish settings with 20 fps ;_;
My goal is to have high settings with 30+ fps with a new GPU!

Does anyone have any recommendations on a good GPU that isn't too ridiculous in price(I mean the $700 kind...)

Or possibly tell me what GPU you use if you run TERA on highish setting with good fps.

Thanks for your time folks!
