Tera is headed towards F2P open your eyes...terrible ui, no end game, never ending gold grind and of coarse the [filtered]tiest pvp gear grind ive ever seen.
Solution (for me):
Simply switching which slot i had my Ethernet wire plugged in my router, then resetting my router solved all my issues with the launcher. How or why this happened i have no idea, but give it a try and hope it works out for you.

Yea. Its because their handling this on a "individual basis" aka they have no freakn clue why its not working and want to just say well the problem is on your end not ours. Meanwhile we all get to miss nexus today and possibly for the rest of the weekend putting us further behind everyone else who doesnt seem to have any problem.
It does bother me that I had to come search for this thread, and that EME does not have any announcement or kind of status update on their main page on the Tera website. Gold Star to EME for "Sweeping this Under the Rug!"

I have the exact same problem as you.
I've been having this problem since yesterday. I've tried all the resolutions mentioned in this thread without results. Though a wipe and a reinstall creates an instance of the launcher which works, it updates until it patches to the current launcher build and subsequently crashes without fail without providing any sort of error message after reaching about 20 mb of ram usage (from observing the process in task manager). Please work out a fix EME - let us know when this launcher build is eliminated from the patching process so we know it's time to reinstall. :)

Was told to boot in safe mode by gm.....
This allowed my launcher to connect to their login server and begin downloading patches. once complete, i rebooted in normal mode and could not connect to login screen as usual. complete waste of time.
