LFG for static MCHM ... PST/server time late night preferred; After 9pm till 1am. I have 8 clears and I can do debuffs. I wouldn't mind tanking but prefer DPS. [iLvL162]+12 Regent Set 3% DPS setup. Tank set just needs, gloves.
Not saying baby steps... i am taking about applying too many major changes will cause longer wait timers by the player base. Those hardcore ppl will lose the will to play because of the advantage they had before. Your right though ... it is [flitered] up place to be. I can only tolerate about 5 games and then I have to large dose of doing something else for a couple of hours... before I go back.
I would like to chime in on the loser buff changes...
The 2k point lead ... I found to be fair... I think maybe tighten it to drop off at 500 below not 1k below, would be acceptable. Allowing a catch up and not an overtake.
ALSO cutting the stats in half on it might be a little harsh with the above change or the change you implementing with it. I think too many changes to the system at one time is too much... you need to test out one major change at a time to get a better since of effect on player base and the BGs interest by players.
Next, let's talk about battlegrounds...
...earning credits: we will raise the amount of credits earned in premade battlegrounds to equal credits earned in PUG battlegrounds.
... Players leaving matches will now be assessed a loss. Spawn-camping is not prevented by the game—yet!—but in the meantime, if a GM observes you spawn-camping, your first offense is a warning, and each subsequent offense will cost you 200 Bellicarium credits. Don’t be that person.
This is first most logical two changes I have seen yet... you should have done this sooner, was starting to think yall were acting crazy for not implementing these fixes... these two changes are awesome. If you rise it higher... than guilds would have an incentive to organize for them vs. PUGing.
As for the punishment... 200 Bell credits is not enough. How about giving the player a loss and/or kick them out the match.
I like the idea of a daily for PVP and the reward being the ghost eggs or something. Maybe dish out 200 Beli credits as well.
IDEA: **Bellicarium Dailies**
5 kill daily for each lvl 60 region (Baldars, ZF, Kanstria and Granakus) - 1 Egg, 100 Belli credits (4 dailies total)
25 kill weekly - 1 Victors Box and 500 belli credits
100 kill month - 5 Eggs, 4 Victors Box, 1k Belli credits
3 kills during Guild War (monthly) - Vanarch points and 10 Cath rewards.
This would provide a 4600 Belli credits (a month) incentive for ppl to world pvp. ALSO to decrease world pvp complaints and QQ. You could always make the kills only count if both parties are flagged. I know this sounds like a PVP vs PVE server issue. But lets face it... we roll on pvp servers so that we can kill each other. Right now the cost dying to pvp OW is way higher than the incentive to win.
OWPvP incentives need to be more grand, like actually making world bosses worth farming, or make a higher tier of world boss that explodes into loot, but had a long respawn time. Having a permanent of regular egg event wont solve this problem
I had thought about this too but droppped the idea as I do not believe they are wanting to allow access to high end loot outside of dungeons, the eggs provide more basic things like crystals and masterwork scrolls, potions, novelty items, those sorts of things.
However, not against this idea.
You could have a high tier world boss explode into the same stuff. But it's a lot more epic to have a huge PvP or GvG battle while trying to be the one that gets the kill on a dangerous world boss.
I feel the same way too... almost everyone I know playing warrior is major frustrated with the class. The simple fact is I can dance around an opponent and blow every skill and not hit them and they are right under me.
Yes I can stun but what about attacking. AND if we do managed to hit someone rocking 300-700 damage per attack is dumb. Then within a few seconds I get hit by a slayer, zerker, archer, sorc for 60k... in one to three shots. Takes almost 30secs to 1 min to kill someone as a warrior.
