Only an idiot would make a new character on a server they don't intend to play on.
I just can't seem to figure out why they thought PvE servers would be more popular than PvP servers. ;p
Only a idiot would complain about waiting in a queue on a server designated as FULL. This must be your first MMO launch or something. Here's a clue, they have to think about keeping the server populations healthy after the initial rush. They also have to take a best guess on how many people will be playing, how many servers will be needed etc etc etc. It's not a exact science.
Put too many servers out, you have dead and empty servers and you same people coming here to complain about the server being dead. Put too little out and you same people come here complain that the queue is dumb.
So, your best bet on a MMO launch is to either a) have patience for them to see how populations go and add servers if needed. b) Wait in queue and whine like children. c) Roll on a server with no queue and get to playing something while you wait on a resolution.
Sadly, you are all going to go with B... your choice.. crap.. tank just pulled the boss...
Has it ever dawned on your miniscule intellect that all of the PvP servers are full and have queue times?
As a professional common sense should of told you not to roll on a high population server. These threads are moronic. This is not their fault at all. You will be one of the people crying also if the servers were barren waste lands with no people because they made 100 servers
I'm not sure if people like you have noticed this... but ALL 3 PvP servers have queue times.

Looks like a propagation problem where the latest patch files were only put on certain regions servers, and not on the rest. ;p
You will get those who will say that a lvl 27 attacking and slaughtering a lvl 12 in 2 hits is pvp. I disagree. This is not what pvp was meant to be. PvP is about pitting your skills with your class against the skills of the player you are fighting, using the mechanics of your character to it's fullest potential, and of course, on occasion getting very lucky.
Everquest 2 had the right idea for open world pvp combat in it's games, and I think that the outlaw system has the right idea but needs a polish. What needs to be changed is that there need to be bracket ranges for pvp in open world. For example:
Players 11 - 16 are the only ones that can attack each other in open pvp world scenarios. If they chose to toggle the outlaw option, then they can be attacked by any level.
And so on for the brackets until cap. This is not meant to say i don't enjoy pvp as i do, but i do not seriously see how a cap level, in this case a 27 attacking a 12 is pvp. I truly don't. Anyone who argues that this is pvp, is merely enjoying the fact and enjoying strokin their pud over the fact they can 2 shot someone, instead of being faced with a real challenge.
If you want your hand to be held, and treated like a carebear, you should probably play on a PvE server. People who like real PvP don't like having artificial limitations saying "Oh sorry man, you're too strong to attack this person!".
If some level 20 is harassing a Guild Member and needs help when I'm like level 50.. you're damn right I'm going to go destroy the level 20.
