While it's not directly always their fault, they charge us for a service that we want to use, and if for whatever reason it can not be provided, we should either not have to pay OR be compensated.
That's like saying that if I put a down-payment on a tv, and another person smashes it in-store, the company shouldn't have to replace it. They are the ones responsible with fixing and maintain a server regardless of the challenges is the job we pay them to do.
