Anaxie, you are also simply glossing over the fact that the games you are praising had appropriate looking graphics back in their day, or even great-looking graphics.
I played Morrowind again shortly after Skyrim. It's not nostalgia the games are simply better then almost everything launched RPG wise.
People generally don't want to play a new game that looks like it was made 5 years ago. There is a big difference between going back to a classic, and putting up with a new triple A title that looks like garbage.
Significant exceptions to this being the handheld games, as anyone who isn't a complete moron is well aware of the technical limitations of the system. As magus states, immersion is broken pretty easily when I look at a particularly bad texture or armor model and am immediately reminded of the N64 days.
But why do graphics have to matter? games today are horrible. We spend more time watching cutscenes then playing games today. Or more focus on the shiny with Empty gameplay not refering to Tera just games in general since the Xbox era began.
You know what is one of the best FPS shooter games of all time? Perfect Dark 64. That game had absolutely everything and a massive variety of very unique and fun weapons. We never get games let alone FPS's like that anymore.
You're rating games on nostalgia factor. Stop that. You're not better than anyone because you still play Morrowind.
not sure how they kick you, even if healer not in combat other party member will be in combat.
last time I check every 1 in party must not be in combat for 120 sec in order to kick someone.
This guy is right. Everyone has to be out of combat for 120 seconds. The OP may well have gotten kicked, but there are measures in to prevent that.
If you came to this thread and the only lasting impressions you took away is 'aphotic is rude', id have to say you came in here with a preconceived biased goal or youre a complete [filtered].
Yep, you're right, I already thought Aphotic was rude before coming into this thread. I have witnessed it multiple times. What exactly are you trying to prove here?
Edit: I have met and played with very nice members from Aphotic before. This is, rather, the impression I get from those representing the guild on the forums and, to an extent, in-game.
The unsheathed lance tends to happen a lot. Most of the time it seems to come if you mount your horse or lion immediately after using the charge skill.
You know, I'm not very involved in the guild vs guild nonsense on this server, but from an outsider's perspective, Aphotic is being quite rude in this thread. I don't really know what happened in game, but why do you guys consistently make yourselves look bad to anyone who's not in one of the 'top guilds' on the server? This is why I'd never consider joining.
You are from RoC, a guild that vote trades with bloodline. Of course you would say this.

It's really not important who I am though. I said I'm a bystander, and from my point of view, your guild comes off as quite rude. My opinion isn't that important or anything, I'm just saying.
