Exactly, all games get to a point where people find themselves at a hangout spot with the regulars running around in circles, talking.
Because companies claim 'End Game Content' but even that sometimes gets boring. :(
Doesn't nessicarily have to be housing then, I'm sure EME can come up with someone different but exciting, it's just, the more features there are in a game, the better.
From what I played, during OB, it's a really good game, it has many features so far, the graphics are beautiful, the combat is refreshing, it keeps you constantly interested in it instead of (Right click > target monster > spam F1, F2 and F3.)
I have no complaints at this present time about the game, naturally, people WILL get bored with it, it's enevitable with any game, but things like flying mounts and housing system are always fun in games, (when they put the time and effort into housing) so hopefully in time with enough support they can implement certain new things.
