Considering the timer only takes an extra 3 minutes....
LoT HM has the same loot table as Kaprima, some believe that it has a higher chance of dropping enigmatic T12 armor as well.

Ebon Tower HM has the same loot table as Baldurs Temple, and again some believe that it also has a higher chance of dropping enigmatic T12 weapons.

Enigmatic Weapons and Armor (both T12 and T13) are BoE, most of the other gold armor is BoP (some exceptions apply, like T13 gold non-enigmatic armor from Kaprima HM is also BoE)

Regarding Progression:

Once your group gets their BoP weapons (I think they're 141?) from Fane/LoT you can do Baldurs, when my group first did it we only had our BoP weapons (proper scrolls and crystal set-ups are required also).

Get full enigmatic stuff for at least your tank and you can try HM fane.

But hard mode Fane absolutely requires T12 enigmatic weapons enchanted to +7 or more on DPS, there's two fights that are essentially DPS races. The first and the last boss.

Top end PVE weapons comes from running HM Fane and Normal mode Baldurs/Fane. Reason being is that for each weapon you need 50 Godsmarrow (which drop from NM Baldurs/Fane) and 300 Fanesteel (which drops from HM Fane bosses). This would allow you to craft T13 masterworkable weapons (provided you have the recipe and the 410 skill)

As you might've guessed, Fanesteel drops for each person in singles (or doubles, in the case of Kaprima). Godsmarrow also drops in singles.
HM Fane, Lancer boss less then 20%.... :(

We had lancer boss at 19% on Fane HM :(
You'll notice that the earrings actually says "Increases HP Restoration by 4.3%". This is on par with the chest armor's mod. It increases healing received.

I actually have my own unique build that's entirely different then the one you suggest but your guide is certainly helpful for those who are new to the end levels.

Amendment:

Not all golds come with 3 random mods, some actually come with 6 (Unidentified Effect x1, +1/+3/+5/+7/+9). Also, three random mods aren't limited to weapon. I suggest the following:

"Some gold equipment come with 3 or more random mods on them, etc."

The +3/+6 effects on gloves and boots are static, but I'm not sure how to word that in...
