I do see your point. It may seem annoying to you and there honestly is no point to it. However, I still remember several games (yes, they are still popular now) where u had to MANUALLY click every item you wanted to make. I remember standing in front of this NPC for 4 days clicking the same 3 buttons so I can get what I want. We still have it good here.
