In next week's patch, archers will have a larger target hit box for several skills along with a few other tweaks.

Can we have more information on the "few other tweaks" or is that a case of "you'll have to wait until after the patch to find out"?

they have to constantly move around.

You seem to be confused, you're supposed to be aiming at the boss, not the Warrior.

Sorry let me spell it out for those of you with hindered reading comprehension and/or lack of understanding of the implications.

1. The warrior is holding aggro, this means that the mob will follow wherever the warrior goes.

2. The warrior flips over the mob to avoid being hit.
What, you mean you as DPS don't telepathically know when the Warrior is about to Evasive Roll to be able to dodge/move, in perfect sync, with the boss to be able to continue hitting the back throughout the movement? Wow, your DPS need to be kicked from the party.

... Or, get a better Warrior.

Personally, I would select Option 1 for your case.

Fortunately I already know that a dev acknowledged it and don't need to click those anyways :P

And all those links could still lead to rick roll videos. People are sneaky....
Maybe... maybe the TERA devs themselves will Rick Roll people...

Now they have been given the idea....
You're welcome.

@Koroem: Doesn't matter if the posts were useless or not, they at least let us know that the devs are aware. That's better than nothing, right? Plus, it answered qazwsxx's flawed and ignorant post... despite them not noticing the links. :P

@ReiKoji: You don't click "suspicious" links? You can't hover over the hyperlinked words to see the URL? Here, let me make it easy.

@Angrynixon: Thanks, looking out for those poor hyperlinks an all. *heart tortured and killed, slowly, as punishment for eating part of my post*

@:Azures UI itself isn't the problem according to the people here, it's how the UI is being rendered by the game. If the graphical look of the UI itself was the issue, they could just replace the image files and be done with it; not hard at all. Changing the method in which the UI is rendered and processed by the system in question is something that requires a little more time, especially depending on how the game is coded. Also, EME might not be able to make changes that major to the game: it might have to be BHS that fixes it or at least works on it or sanctions EME to fix it.

We're not exactly sure what it entails to fix the issue.

I do agree that it needs to be fixed regardless, somehow.

BUMP... 31 pages, was there even an acknowledgment from GMs that this thread exist?
NVM the fact that it's against the rules to bump threads, but...

Yeah, there has been ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE from any GM about this issue... NOT A SINGLE ONE.

Please, use Tera Dev Tracker. Not only will it help you NOT look ignorant, idiotic and lazy, but might actually give you information that you want to know.
Honestly, for me:

Male? Castanic by far.
Female? High Elf, Human or Aman.

Personally prefer the High Elf animations, Human looks for armor and customization and general tough bad-[filtered] for Aman.

aussie player here - no Eggs for days - good stuff EME.

NA severs cater to NA time zones, nowhere else.
^
This.

It's like me playing on KTERA and demanding that all the game text be in English and that all events are set to MY timezone. Silly, infantile and unreasonable.

It doesn't matter your "reason": you are playing on a NA version of the game and should expect that they plan stuff for NA over EU, JPN, KR, etc...

Pro Tip: Next time, double check with the original post before actually making a reply.

Especially when edits have been made from before your reply... and especially since those were two days before your post.

These are the highlights of the patch we are pushing for the end of this week. We will publish the patch notes on Thursday, but in the meantime we wanted to share more information with you.

Starting this patch, warriors will be able to queue as a tank or a damage dealer when using the Instance Matching System. The players will be able to choose the play style they prefer and this is a way to have more tanks in the game without waiting for the longer term solution with new skills. There will also be a temporary measure to help out the team with warrior tanks since the new skills aren’t implemented yet.

And while aiming to win the popular vote to become a vanarch is still a noble goal, Guild vs. Guild will be another way to rise to the seat of power and fame. Other features include an option to view FPS, a way for the guildmaster to delegate the Guild vs. Guild authorities, preventing /em from spamming the chat window, which are direct results of community feedback.

As we are working on more tweaks on the crafting system, all crafting attempts will increase the skill give increased skill ups. We were also incredibly excited to see the community activities such as political debates and PvP matches, so we’re adding landmarks to facilitate these activities better (see Gathering points for the community).

For the next patch (sometime in July), the items we are working on include: having more game stats in UI, a few vanarch-related items, chat channel tweak, and more ways to make the crystals more available (continuing our efforts in the previous patch with the Raiders of the Lost Eggs event and other instance reward tweak). There will be more information as they become more solid.

Thursday’s patch notes will provide more details on the next build and please note that these are subject to change, as for all MMO’s. :)

Archer

Glyph of Energy - Concussion Trap | Cooldown time decreased by 30%, reduced glyph point cost | Glyph Points 3
Glyph of Power - Explosion Trap | Increases power by 35% | Glyph Points 5
Glyph of Energy - Restraining Arrow | reduced glyph point cost | Glyph Points 2
Glyph of Haste - Rain of Arrows | Casting time reduced by 40% | Glyph Points 5

After how pointless the ToT advanced glyphs are can't people just be happy with getting 4 actually useful advanced glyphs finally?

Concussion trap will cost 1 less glyph point and shave another 10% off of CD for an extra 2.5 seconds which in certain fights is a HUGE bonus.
Explosion trap gets an extra 10% dmg for a total of 2,970 base dmg...I've seen 300k+ crits as it is off our best instant cast so I am thrilled about this.
One of Restraining Arrows must have glyphs costs 1 less point? Between that and the CT point reduction that'll make room for another glyph.
RoA cast time reduced by 40%? How about you quit [filtered]ing about what used to be and instead look at how it is now and how it can be with that glyph.

I for one am happy as hell about these upgrades. No it's certainly not glyph of piercing but clearly EME isn't going to fix that [filtered] for whatever dumb [filtered] reason they have but still these glyphs are an improvement on current setups.
Long as they fix the currently non-working Restraining Arrow glyph, I'll be ecstatic!

Now? I'm only extremely happy. ^_^
