lol... one is the game coming out, where your progress is maintained... the other is the first beta test... where your progress will get wiped... really... crap troll is crap.
I also really enjoyed the snapshot effect of being able to see a character at level 20 like a previous poster talked about. I also found getting to be a part of the first wiped out expidition to be super sad considering when you are actually on the island and find "Armor/Weapon of the First Expidition". Made it more real for me that I was picking up someone who had died on the islands tools off the mobs corpse.
On an unrelated note, I did notice that if you are wanting to roll on another server and skip the prologue, all you have to do is roll a toon, log in, log back out, create a new character and then you get the option. You don't actually have to do the prologue ever.
I found something odd with the temps on my card when running Tera also. When I was in game we were sitting around 60-65 but when at the server select screen (like say after getting DCed for being idle) my temp and usage would jump WAY up. Not sure what it up with that but that is the only problem that I have experianced.
While I would not be surprised, I find this unlikely as I just tried to open a Blg page from Anet about the GW2 first closed beta and that that failed to open... so looks like they got their own problems. heh.
It has to do with the resolution that the computer is trying to export the video signal at. My BF and the same problem this weekend and it just took a lot of messing around with finding a resolution that his TV supported and that would allow for us see the buttons. Setting your resolution higher is the way to go.
