By the way normal mode rift dungeons were way harder than Tera.

The only hard dungeon in Rift was HK during the first 3 weeks following it opening. Getting all those server and world firsts was sekc time hardmode. Even Greenscale wasn't actually hard pre-nerf. You just needed to have healers that were running useful healing builds instead of hybrid DPS nonsense. Idiot DPS clerics...

But that's the issue in a nutshell. If it takes more than common skill to perform a roll, forcing players without that skill into that role damages the experience of everyone else. AKA it would be retardly stupid to allow Warriors (which mainly DPS and build for DPS) to roll for the tank slot in a random group.

Its great you know some warrior that is good at tanking. So go group with them. Arguing in favor of Warrior tanks in random PuG mode is simply full retard.

Yer basically arguing that retards should be astronaughts too, just so its fair, because technically they have the potential to fill the role. They fit in the space suit right? Wrong that is ridiculous. Even the chimps they sent into space needed to pass a training course.

Warriors don't soak damage..they evade them... I've grouped with a warrior tank for the last 5 CBTs AND on KTERA.

And it's just about as effective...in fact you can clear faster with it..

But by what you say my girlfriend must be the best of players to take on all the hard mode content, so I guess every warrior tank in my guild is just extremely professional!

They have an AoE taunt for one, and if you follow KTera they are making them even more tank-role-y next patch.


So you have a proven Warrior tank that knows how to play? Why the hell would you bother rolling a random dungeon? Oh yeah you wouldn't and your arguement is stupid and moot.

Play Rift and use dungeon finder. You learn very quickly why it is incredibly stupid to allow the "off tank" to roll as main tank. Apparently the DPS warriors all just autojoin to fill whatever slot they can get as fast as they can regardless of their gear or skill handicaps.

Same thing will universally happen in Tera. Warrior will just be after the spot whether they know how to tank or not and it will destroy the experience for everyone else who was unfortunate enough to join with them.

Don't be stupid on the internet. Save your mental failures for real life.

Nah, TSW will fail simply because it's a HORRIBLE GAME. Everything about that game is just bad, and rushed. Having been in the beta since the beginning, it's just an awful experience.

And EA makes it 10 times worse.


I will never give EA another dime. My account was banned at the executive level locking all my DLC and game purchases out. And it was an insta-banned with, zero provocation, for a profile picture locked to a group thread that was viewable by no one but me. I had never even posted on the forums or communicated in any way with anyone at EA or in the community. It wasn't even a horrible picture it was Old Man grey beard giving the double middle finger to the camera without a caption. And there was no way anyone but me and administrators could have ever seen it being a private group with zero members.

EA is raping the gaming industry for all its worth. Never give them money. Pirate everything the publish.

But the fact is Tera was released more than a Year ago. This is the full game you are playing right now. The only difference is EnMasse has the level locked to prevent people from seeing how useless and empty the rest of the game is.

Yep. In true targetless combat players would be able to run into projectiles and you would be able to lead a moving target. In Tera you hit whatever you cast a projectile at unless that projectile is a psuedo spawn with a collision box that causes touch damage (Sorc bubble).


I have ran into projectiles targetted for some one else. I've also hit people by leading them.


Lag may have made it appear that way to you but that is not what actually happens.

I'm not saying don't agree with him.
I'm saying don't let your opinions change because of him. He will often just flat-out lie if it will make you feel less of this game.
