Tempest Reach (PVE)

1. The Venus Fly Trap would be my character's favourite, because as an Elin she has an affinity for nature.

2. My character would have met their 'pet' by a random encounter during her adventures. Out of curiosity, she would have tried to gift it with sentience, much like Elins of the past did to fauna to create Popori. After all, if it worked for fauna, why not flora as well?

They work in harmony to make sure that the nature stays safe despite the Argon invasion.

And Snapper would keep any mosquitoes away from her.

Battleground boxes do also give spellbind, yes!
Thanks Halrath! :)
Anyone else having a high ping since around Tuesday?

I'm on the East coast and my ping is averaging between 200-300, often even going up to 600 at times.

I know someone else on Tempest Reach is also having these issues, and it was mentioned a few days ago on the forums, I think?

If anyone has any info to share, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
Lancer. Sorcs are alright, but until the higher levels they don't pack as much DPS.

Lancers also have the benefit of the near-instant dungeon queue!
Tempest Reach is the largest PVE server, by far.
Not sure if it was mentioned before, but if you have a friend with maxed gathering skills, go farm max-lvl nodes with them for a while and you will max out your skills in no time!
Don't go with sorcerer, since not only is there less forgiveness on them if you mess up while soloing BAMs, the end-game gear is ridiculously expensive.

I have both a lancer and a warrior, and for soloing BAMs I definitely prefer using my lancer. I have ADHD inattentive type, which is really crap for soloing BAMs on a warrior to me since it feels too slow in terms of killing speed, and I have to pay too much attention to avoid dying (since you have to time your dodges and blocks more carefully than with a lancer).

Lancer is definitely amazing for soloing BAMs since you get good damage, have more forgiveness or mistakes since you can block longer and heavy armour provides more defence.

Another thing to keep in mind with warriors is that if you want high dps you have to glyph for that, which takes away from your tanking glyph points, and vice versa. I ran using a hybrid set-up until they introduced glyph toggles, but it's a pain in the butt to remember to switch from DPS to tanking glyphs on the fly.

Additionally, lancers are great in battlegrounds if you ever need a change of pace from farming, and tanking dungeons is always a fun challenge!
I'm surprised warrior is in the lead at the moment. Back when it was first released there were more warriors than you could count, but lately I see them very rarely compared to the other classes!
I play on an MSI GT60 with GTX670. Runs great.
