Just so you guys know the reason TERA is not coming to Australia is because of licencing restrictions. EME was only granted the rights for NA, and no other region.

I would assume their servers are set up in their offices, so... Seattle.

Having played I can say that there is no grind as far as I saw... at all. Though there are groups of mobs that are so much fun to slaughter you might just stick around to watch them all scream and die :P even if all you get is a bit of exp.

Nothing has been said yet about any friend keys. Possibly later or for OBT but as for now, no.

Before my first time playing I knew I wanted to be a tank and my list was Lancer, Berserker, Slayer. After playing every class it was Lancer, Priest, Warrior. I was shocked at how FUN the priest was :P

To speed up your download go to the launcher, under the play button open the settings and turn OFF P2P. I was getting 178 KBps and after I got 1.7MBps. Mighty big difference.

En masse is the NA publishing arm of Bluehole studios, the developer of TERA. And it probably seems Korean because... it is. :P

Though it would be nice (Old FFXI player here too) once your create a char it is locked to that class. You will have to create an alt char to make a new class. I believe the limit is going to be 8 character slots per server. You will get a shared bank that all your chars can access which is nice.
