You like to feel good about yourself now. Sure again.

If that makes you feel good. Sure.
You clearly don't know how to manage your abilities and MP.

Are you reading what you're writing honestly??? A decent group will not give me potential problem with anything. A bad player will give me potential problems. A bad player isn't a problem only for me, it's a problem for the whole group. I am a team player, otherwise I wouldn't be playing an healer. A player who becomes a problem for the whole group is an heavy weight. If you have to carry something heavy and fight at the same time, what would you do???
That's right, you'd drop what you have in hands to use them freely. That's the same thing with that player.
I will heal as much as I can to keep everyone alive, but not at the expense of the whole group. I will sacrifice 1 player if I have to for the Greater Good. A player who falls under the stupidity tag usually takes damage beyond healable.
Xicor, I can't tell you how many times I have been in a group where a healer didn't know what the totems were and caused wipes to groups, or where I had to do them since they didn't comprehend. I didn't [filtered] and complain at them, I did it and explained it to them.
TimeZero on 08/06/2012, 06:18 PMThe tank should always be first, since you can be resurrected with a scroll but not all classes can tank bosses. You can tell us as much as you want you played an healer before, but with those comments, you clearly didn't.
As you said, it's our job to keep people up, but there is a list of priority:
1- Ourselves (a dead healer doesn't heal much)
2- The Tank
3- DPS who do their job (aka uses their escape tricks)
4- DPS who sucks (aka doesn't use their escape tricks)
-------------------------------
5- Stupidity
At the start of a dungeon, if you already at #4, I will warn you once or twice if you can't avoid damage and if you still don't use your escape tricks.....then you fall under the line at #5.
You see, someone at #4 will be using generally 40-50% of all the time and ressources you have available. When I have to use around half my MP to heal 1 person, that leaves the other 50% for 4 other persons (myself included) and that isn't normal, so instead of wasting time/ressources on that person and possibly cost us an unnecessary wipe, I prefer to let that person fall to #5 and be able to heal properly the rest of the group.
This isn't WoW where you just have to stay out of fire and let the tank to sit there. The boss WILL move around and it doesn't care if the tank has the aggro or not. If the boss has jump mechanics to crush people, he will do it. POSITIONNING is as much important as anything else in Tera.
You're clearly admitting that you will not heal people because you don't want to potentially have to manage your MP properly.
You are the epitome of what is wrong, always taking the easy way out of everything. You're not a team player because if you were, you'd heal everyone unless you're literally not able. You don't say, "I'm not going to heal this person because I'm tired of them not dodging abilities."
Such a joke.
Stop telling me what I have played as well, and stop making comparisons to WoW like that's the first and only MMO.

You haven't made a reply relevant to what I have said. It's your job to keep people up. If they don't do their job, that doesn't mean you shouldn't do your job. If someone goes AFK during trash, for instance, and they're a DPS, that doesn't mean I'm going to go AFK too because I don't want to 'carry" their weight. Just doesn't add up.
Also, you don't intentionally hurt the group you're in just because they aren't a great player. You prioritize them last to heal, but just because they take damage doesn't mean they aren't putting damage out.

EDIT: I agree for that though, the only good looking skins are the Lancer and Sorcerer ones.

It's not because you have an awesome looking skin that makes you better.
It's basically the same as saying my shlong is bigger than yours and it looks awesome...
It's not how big and good looking that counts, it's what you're doing with it!
