Yay! I know you don't care, but I do. I took about a month away from the game but came back a little over a week ago and am having a lot of fun again. I noticed that my friends list is quite dead and none of the people I used to chat and play with besides my guildies seem to be logging in. I know many people stopped playing after the month that came with the game purchase and many have transferred servers but maybe you've just rerolled. If you're a friend of Twinklin but have rerolled and are playing a character I might not know please let me know. I've decided I enjoy melee classes better than my Sorc so you may not see me on Twinklin very much but instead will probably be on Dahling and maybe Violent. If I don't know you but you're looking for new friends on the server feel free to say "Hi"! :P

I personally wanted to start an anarchist movement on the server. I would start scandal and rumors and a campaign to require official documentation that the candidates were all born in Arborea. I'd also hold sit ins and protests to remove the Vanarchs and their taxes. I've held tons of in game events in other games with coin rewards and never had to tax the population in order to do so. DOWN WITH THE GOVERNMENT!!

My bf has been playing it and visually it's not too bad, the cinematics are awesome, but as an outsider who's never played a DIablo game and has no connection to the series it just seems boring to me. He gave me a trial code and I played it for like 20 mins before the servers went down the day of release and I was not in a rush to get back into the game when they came back up.
He plays with a naga mouse and the small number of abilities he gets are all on the mouse. When I venture out into the living room all I hear is click click click click click click click. Watching him play that seems to be the basics. His witch doctor character seems like he doesn't have to spam click as much but it also seems like all he does is run around and pick up loot while his minions do all the work.
Doesn't seem worth $60 imo but he's enjoying it so for some players it is a fun game.

I am glad they added a global LFG but I agree it should be used as it's intended. I initially joined in on the global conversations until they got out of hand. I chose the server I'm on because it had the most troll free area chat that I had come across and I haven't had the need to turn it off or block anyone. In only a few hours I've had to block several people in the LFG channel and am contemplating turning it off all together which then prevents me from being able to see who is looking for more for a group quest that I might also need since people seem to not want to use the LFG tool. I am seeing lots of LFG messages in the chat channel but they're quickly removed from view due to the general chat spam.
I forget what game I played in the past, I think it was original Guild Wars that allowed you to post in the LFG channel only if you had used the Group Finder tool to start a group. I would like something like this in TERA. If you put yourself in the LFG window there could be a button that allows you to once every x-minutes post a generated message to the LFG channel. Those should be the only things in LFG chat.

The lion is faster then both the level 11 free mount and the level 40 mount you can purchase from the mount vendor in Velika so IMO the collectors is worth it. It also saves you like 125 gold which is the approx. price of the level 40 horse mount. I don't know what mounts are available beyond that as I haven't explored in Allemantia (sp?) too much yet.
