Are people speaking another language REALLY the core problem?
I don't play during BR prime time, so I don't experience first hand what you guys are discussing. From the sounds of it, it's not so much the language that causes the issue, it's the fact that they are flooding global. Doing it in non-English just happens to compound the issue. Personally, I don't think it's right to segregate them because in the end, they are just looking for a place to play. Language barrier is unfortunately something we may have to deal with. I seems like both sides are being fairly inconsiderate in this manner (BRs kicking English speakers, English speakers blocking BRs, etc). Don't you think we have some level of responsibility to at least try to co exist with them?
My stance in this matter comes directly from the experiences I had while playing FFXI. In that game, ENGLISH speakers were the ones invading the JAPANESE speakers' servers. They learned to live with us just like how we learned to live with them. There was definitely tension as the same types of things happened in that game too: JP parties wouldn't take on EN players, EN players actively griefing JP parties, etc, but in the end, we all just wanted to play the game. There is, without a doubt, going to be a period of growing pains, but to immediately dismiss and ostracize them probably isn't the right way to go about it.
Just some food for thought.
